More and more orthodontic treatments are becoming available to give adults the smile that they want. Orthodontic treatments are not just for your smile, even though they can really improve your appearance and self-esteem.
The earlier we catch problems with your child's bite, the simpler they are to fix. The results are often better than if we wait and require less work. We may not need to keep braces on your child for as long when they are younger, which means less expense for you.
The American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) recommends that children visit an orthodontist as soon as their dentist notices that there might be a problem or before they are seven years old.We may not have to do anything at this age, other than monitor the child's mouth. However, if we continue to watch your child, we can start treatment right away!

Here at Oxford Orthodontics, we are proud to offer braces to our patients. Braces are often used to straighten teeth. They can also be used to help correct misaligned bites including both underbites and overbites. When determining the best course of action to fix your smile, one of our dentists will do a thorough examination with x-rays and possibly pictures of your face.

I went to the ortho that my dentist recommended for an alignment for my bottom teeth only. They refused to do it without doing the top also which needed no adjustment whatsoever. So I tried Oxford. Dr. Oxford said he could and would do what I was asking and not touch my top teeth. (They are veneers, and they are already perfect.) I was so thankful he was willing to do it. My experience with this office through the past year has been positive every time. The front office staff is so professional and so nice and friendly. I’ve been with Oxford for around six years and I don’t have any complaints. The customer service is awesome, and the entire staff is very helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better orthodontist to have went through my journey with braces. When you walk in you instantly feel the friendly environment. This is by far the best Orthodontist for miles, around Mount Juliet. My grand daughters go here. They are always so friendly. They greet you with a smile and hello the minute you enter the office. Not some, but all of the staff are so friendly, they dedicate the time you are there to that individual patient and the best coarse of treatment. They are gentle with the patients. You can always reschedule an appointment whenever necessary, sometimes multiple times. They will fit you in if needed. I can't say enough good things about this orthodontist to do him justice.

Dr. Oxford has been a great help to me and getting me moved forward on getting my surgery. He is very talented and his assistants are very nice, polite, and easy to talk to. Also they are very helpful. They’ve helped me get to to every appointment and got there on time. I would give Oxford Orthodontics a 5 star. I would recommend it to anyone in need of any dentals.

I love Oxford Orthodontics! Dr. Oxford and his staff are wonderful! They are flexible with scheduling and we have never waited more than five minutes in the waiting room upon our arrival. I must also mention their payment plans. Oxford Orthodontics offers an interest free payment plan for all uncovered costs- which has helped us tremendously. We have been going to Dr. Oxford for the past four years with two of our three children. When the third is ready for braces, we will again use Dr. Oxford. We did visit other orthodontists when seeking our initial consultation and we were blown away with Dr. Oxford and his staff. The staff here is WONDERFUL.
