Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer. Gum disease evaluation: Check the gums and bone around the teeth for any signs of periodontal disease.

Save you money and your teeth. Dr.Boyd is a rude dentist with bad bed side manner. So rude, I remember his comments to me 8 years later. Dr. Boyd performed a root canal on a tooth of mine, but did not perform the root canal correctly. The tooth that he did the work on ended up causing me excruciating pain and got infected to the point that the infection traveled from my tooth out of my nose. Several endodonist appointments and a lot of money later my tooth is finally pain and infection free. A friend of mine had a similar experience involving a root canal, beware. I used to be so afraid of going to the dentist but once I started at Boyd Dentistry (years ago), that all changed. The environment is so warm and welcoming. Everyone from the receptionist to the hygienist are really friendly. Dr. Boyd will keep in you in good spirits as he sings and jokes while making your smile beautiful. He explains everything that’s taking place so you will never feel unaware or in the dark on was going on with the visit. I was given a blanket when I told them I was cold, full access to my very own tv, all while listening to the BEST play list ever. I must also shout out Dr

Both my husband and I had crowns replaced. Dr. Boyd is an amazing dentist and did a great job of explaining what he was doing, how he was doing it and why. The crown being replaced the same day is the absolute best! If you are looking for a dentist who is honest, does great work and listens to his patients, this is your place.
