At Audubon Animal Hospital, located in St. Francisville, Louisiana we combine our basic love of animals with quality veterinary care. We strive to know all of our clients personally and our patients by name. We understand our patients are our clients' family members and believe they deserve personalized loving care.

It is our goal to be second only to our clients in providing quality loving care for their pets. We firmly believe preventive medicine is always better than emergency medicine. Audubon Animal Hospital recommends thorough annual examinations to detect early signs of abnormalities or disease. We feel early detection greatly improves success of treatment.
Services
Dr Elizabeth Morgan is a Louisiana native. Although she spent much of her young life moving with her family, she has lived the majority of her adult years in the Greater Baton Rouge area. She graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and soon after moved to West Feliciana Parish where she has practiced veterinary medicine ever since.
Audubon Veterinary Hospital also has facilities to safely and comfortably board your pets. Boarding is a great option when you are on vacation, have home repairs taking place or even have an unexpected medical emergency that requires you to be away from your beloved animal companion.

Your pet will be under the care of our veterinarians in case a medical issue arises and any health concerns you may have for your pet can be addressed during their stay with Audubon Veterinary Hospital. Our cat and dog facilities are separate, we feel cats not being closely housed to dogs greatly improves their comfort during their stay.
We are excited to offer a new service for pets in need of pain and wound management. Cold laser therapy is a noninvasive procedure that treats pain associated with arthritis, injuries, surgery and other conditions. It can also be used to treat wounds and aid in the healing process. The laser works by stimulating cell growth and blood circulation, which in turn, works to heal the affected areas.
Most people realize how important dental care is for people, but did you know oral health is equally important for pets? Studies show that both dogs and cats need to begin regular cleanings as young as one year of age. Without this regular cleaning and brushing, your pet will soon develop a thin layer of bacteria on their teeth and gum line.
Our facility offers some of the most advanced laboratory equipment in use by veterinarians, including complete blood counts, comprehensive blood chemistries, and blood thyroid levels. Heartworm tests for canines are utilized to diagnose heartworm disease. We also offer tests that provide rapid results for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm tests.

Rushed my dog here after getting run over and I am very grateful and satisfied with the help I received throughout this whole process. My pup is genuinely excited when he has a vet appointment and I’m sure it has a lot to do with the staff treating him as one of their own. Thank y’all!

Thank you Dr Liz for your compassionate care for Dezy for over 14 years and for your attempt to remove her cancer. But especially thank you for your loving and careful way of sending her to rest in peace.

They took very good care of our dog while we traveled. We asked for a teeth cleaning, which revealed bigger issues. All of the dogs issues were handled in a professional and cost effective manner. They also dote on the animals in their care...

My boyfriend and I were in Saint Francisville on vacation at the lake when our 3 year old pup got into some rat poison. We took her to this office in town and they treated us and scout so well. From the front door service with Leanne, getting us straight to a room and calming our nerves, to Dr. Emily the vet who took care of Scout (our pup) we felt at ease knowing she was in good hands. Highly recommend this office for all pet needs.
