Garden District Animal Hospital has an experienced team of boarding professionals, who maintain the area by keeping it immaculately clean and continually monitored. Just like people, our pet's needs change over time, and the caring veterinarians at Garden District Animal Hospital in Baton Rouge are ready to care for your pet's overall wellness.

Our tests take only ten minutes and you can have peace of mind before you leave our clinic. Blood testing provides our veterinarians with information that can only be determined from lab work, that could not be found with a physical exam alone. We are offering curbside and drop off services! We are scheduling appointments for sick patients, wellness exams, and limited surgeries.

Unfortunately, there are times we cannot take our animal companions with us when we leave home. Next time this happens, let your pet stay with the caring boarding professionals at Garden District Animal Hospital in Baton Rouge. Our modern facility is fully equipped with the comforts of home, including air conditioning in the summer months, and cozy heat during the winter.
Angela began working at Garden District Animal Hospital in 2004 with Dr. Stuckey. She became the Office Manager of Garden District Animal Hospital when Dr. Anderson purchased the clinic. Angela grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana and attended local schools. She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences.
Did you know that poor oral hygiene for your pet may not only affect their teeth, but damage their heart, kidneys, and lungs? Were you aware that without proper care 85% of pets exhibit evidence of periodontal disease by three years of age? Fortunately, Dr. Andersen and her staff have successfully provided veterinary dental care to countless pets in the Baton Rouge area, and they will be there for yours as well!
Does your pet scratch excessively? Are you finding red and inflamed skin conditions? Your pet could be suffering from an allergic condition. Allergic reactions in our pets are typically caused when an animal is allergic to something in their environment (such as dust, pollen, or grass), flea bites, or food allergies.
Garden District Animal Hospital continually strives to offer our patients the latest in veterinary technology, and our advanced digital radiography (x-ray) system provides the sharpest and clearest images available. Our digital system has multiple advantages over older systems which require chemicals and time to develop radiographs.
