West Suburban Limousine is a family-owned business that has been serving the Chicagoland area since 1966. We currently employ over 35 employees at our corporate headquarters in Winfield, Illinois. West Suburban Limo began with only four cars, but now manages a fleet of over 100 vehicles which includes Luxury Sedans, Stretch Limousines, and SUV's.
Jeff Hiltunen joined West Suburban Limousine in 2005, after a thirteen-year career with Honeywell. His father, Ray Hiltunen (1939-2010) founded the Chicago limousine company in 1966, and Jeff returned to become the second generation to helm the business. Hiltunen attended the Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology (Tulsa, OK), before transferring to DeVry, where he graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering Technologies.

My story is that on my flight home from Palm Springs I gathered up my luggage and called your office and a wonderful lady helped me navigate to the correct door I needed to exit to see my driver. I got very confused and even panicked abit and the women that was so kind to me and would not hang up!! She stayed with me until I got the right door!! This is over the top service just amazing!! The flight number was 2880 from Palm Springs yesterday afternoon 11/5 /21 would like to send her a gratuity for her heroic efforts to get my ride.

I reserved this service for an airport round trip drop off/pick up. The ride to the airport was fine. The driver wasn’t wearing a mask which I thought was a poor choice. My review is based on the airport pick up reservation. Upon landing I received a text message stating “Unfortunately due to several cars and drivers going down today the current wait time is 1 1/2-2 hours. You are encouraged to find alternate transportation. Call us when ready to go if you would like to wait and we can give you updated eta for a vehicle at that time. We're very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.”

The wait time is incredibly long, multiple parties have been picked up by other ride services and yet here we wait. Won't be using them again. Landed an hour ago and have been waiting 45 minutes, no apologies and no reason for the delay. I had used them for years but the last few rides have been progressively worse.

We have had very good experiences with this company, and we've used them for over two years. But our last airport pick up was nearly an our later than our reservation time. They attributed it to traffic at the airport, but it seemed as though the car wasn't at the airport, so I don't know if they were short staffed or tried to squeeze in another ride or what. I'd be speculating, but it was such a different and disappointing experience after a week away. We just wanted their normal quality of service we had come to expect.

I booked them to give us a ride home from a concert. My trip was confirmed and I had no reason to think they weren’t going to follow through. Thank God that in the middle of the concert, I checked my reservation to see if there was a license plate number we could use to identify the car. That’s when I noticed that it said the reservation had been cancelled. I checked my email to see if there was any correspondence that I missed informing me that my trip had been cancelled and there was not. All I had was a notice that I made a reservation and then a confirmation email that came soon after.

On our international flight pickup for 7 of us, our driver was no where to be seen at the time of pickup. When we called dispatch, we were told our driver “was at home” with no offered resolution. When asked what could be done dispatch was quite non chalant about the issue. We were told it would be 45min…and then put on hold only to then be told there is actually no solution because they don’t have a driver nearby. I’ve used WS for years for work but never again after this.

On time (which is the most important), professional clean vehicles, short wait at O'Hare for return trip. Great service and I would highly recommend. We utilized West Suburban for a family trip (11 people) and they were great.

I use WSL every time I need a ride to the airport. They check all the boxes.
1) They are always on time, if not a little early.
2) The cars are nice
3) The drivers are safe. They won't compromise your safety to get you there 60 seconds earlier.
4) Most of my drivers have been professional and personable. I've had some great conversations. But if you don't feel like talking, they get the picture.

Loved the service. Used them for our wedding. From the start of processing the contract to the day of our wedding. The staff was helpful, answered all questions, and most of all were very respectful and honest. The driver was polite, and always respectful. I am very happy we chose this company of the rest. I have used WSL for years for personal and business to/from airport trips and have had a great experience every time. They're on-time, their vehicles are clean, the drivers are personable. I like their system of getting a text when I land, everything easy and non-stressful. I always book by calling and their admins are nice and quick and the confirmations come immediately. 5 stars!

Continue to use West Suburban Limo, over many airport trips ... always a great experience !! On time, clean vehicle, and whether I need to work, or engaging in conversation ... the drivers are always polite.

Smooth, efficient process getting set up with them. The driver was waiting for us at midway on a busy Thursday afternoon. Our wait time was less than 5 minuets. Nice, clean, comfortable stretch limo. Don the driver got us home safely and smoothly without a hitch. Polite and professional. No problems at all.

I would not recommend this service. Our driver didn't show up at our reservation time. When we called the company, a woman told us our driver had been delayed and he'd arrive to pick us up within minutes. He arrived disheveled. His shirt was untucked, his hair was a mess. His clothing was wrinkled. He told us that he had fallen asleep around the corner and his alarm didn't go off. As he drove us to the airport, his alarm went off. He set it for the wrong time. Also, he was driving unsafely. He was swerving between lanes and nearly missing exits. He almost seemed hungover. We will

Easy to book online. By phone a little annoying, but once you are set up once they have your details. They can put in two #'s if you are booking for someone --- a # for you, and a # for the person they are picking up.

My daughter and I were attending a Trisomy 18 medical conference in the Chicago area and we were lucky to have Nick Karash #37 for our driver. His car was clean and classy and he was a delightful gentleman. I am never comfortable riding with someone I don't know, but Nick made us feel very safe. I requested him for our return trip to Midway and was happy to see his smiling face. A lot of people are uncomfortable around those with special needs like my daughter, but Nick treated her with kindness and respect. We were exhausted from the 5 day conference but Nick made the ride to the airport
