I'm incredibly loyal to Dandelion Bistro, but last night's food was ok, and I found out there is the new owner and changed restaurant name to Red Bird. I always order comfort food like steak and etc. so I ordered their steak entree. It was so tiny, tasted a little strange, and didn't full me up. Also ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. It's mostly just the bread coating, no pickle. The food overall was bad. I will try this place again, hopefully the other entrees are better.

I was a loyal Dandelion Bistro customer and unbeknownst to me I noticed the food quality drastically changed recently. I later came to learn they changed ownership in August 2021. I initially thought, congratulations to the new owners! The new name is now Red Bird Bar and Grille. I gave the new owners a try twice (once for carry out and once for dining in). Both times, the experience and food was sub-par. In addition, on my dine-in visit, our waitress seemed dismissive of a guest in our party who had a gluten allergy. This was disappointing because the old owners took gluten allergies very seriously

We've been doing our part to keep this wonderful small restaurant open during Covid. But they've done a remarkable job making themselves indispensable with their family meals. Definitely have some favorites: voodoo pasta, veggie panini, Shanty club--can't go wrong with these! Missing the nachos they removed from the menu a few months ago. Also, they need a spicy chicken sandwich on the menu. Overall, love this place!

By far the best food anywhere within miles of Glenelg, for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Always excellent, and serving sizes are always large enough for leftovers later.

Sheer elegance in a metal tray. No microwave, no freezer, just fresh, just right. Succulent shrimp from right here in the Chesapeake Bay, lobster from heaven. Salisbury steak from Salisbury Maryland, Turkey from Turkey, ham from hamburg and the wines...yes, the wines. Their Vinyard is out back, and absolutely breath taking. They bottle in house, and you don't want to miss it. Their owner and cheif sommelier, Raquel will tantalize you with her ellagant pairings of merlot and items such as open faced Turkey on white and classic steamed shrimp served grab and go.
Always fresh, never frozen.

We used Dandelion to cater my birthday. Don't worry- it wasn't some party in the midst of the pandemic. Anyway, the owner worked with my order because I wanted more chicken thighs than breasts in the Marsala. Although chicken Marsala isn't really a top choice of mine in general, it was good and and my family enjoyed it. We live down the street and often get food to go. We always have a great meal and if anything, just need to add some Hawaiian salt to the dishes- but my family loves salt. We are typically gluten free and love the GF options- especially the pizza!!

My sister-in-law picked up a "family meal" from here for her husband's birthday. I have noted that during COVID, some carryout places aren't as appealing (in terms of presentation). However, our family meal from Dandelion was SO GOOD!

We had so much food and ALL of it was well-prepared and delicious. The seafood platter was great!

Very nice vegetable and cheese pannini with the side of your choice. They brought it outside wearing a mask and gloves.

To be fair, this was my first visit and it was a lunch hour.

Service (5-stars): during COVID-19, it can be challenging for servers to be respectful of safety and still inviting ambassadors for a restaurant. Both the hostess and our waitress were cheery, friendly and attentive. I was on a short timeline for lunch and our waitress did everything possible to keep the pace of experience efficient.

Ambience (3-stars): just average. The sign outside is clear to read but nothing about the exterior of the building creates interest to want to come inside. Inside, it feels more like a country store

Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. Their Bloody Mary's are always on point. All the brunch items my family ordered from the stuffed fresh toast to the big daddy omelet were fantastic. The brisket in the Rachael sandwich is worth noting. The environment is super laid back and family friendly. The decor is lovely. No complaints. I'm a fan.

Found this spot on Google Maps while driving around. Had a lovely outdoor dinner in the patio. My boyfriend loved the bison and I loved the Beyond Burger. They have lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. Great service. Highly recommend!

This is my go-to place when I'm craving a fresh soup and salad meal (which has been often since quarantine)! Their Caesar salad is my favorite. I've had it with chicken and salmon - both delicious! I also love their creamy French onion soup! The presentation aspect is MIA with the current take-out only option, so no photos to share at the moment. It wouldn't be fair!

My family has had various other options here as well and they've never been disappointed. As we continue to order, I will update to share!

Glenelg is an incredibly small, out of the way town, which I pass through weekly for work. I drive down Ten Oaks, which parallels route 32, and often at lunch time. Typically, I'll wait until I hit the more built up areas along 108, but on a whim, I decided to try the Dandelion Bistro for lunch.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, a problem exacerbated by apparent construction on the little strip its located in. I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I walked in, but it certainly wasn't this. The entire restaurant is just gorgeous inside. Walking in, its a

This is a cute little cafe in western Howard County where there aren't many options for lunch. So this is a welcome find!

The tables all have unique and very cute little salt and pepper shakers on them.

I was here with my bookclub friends and we all ordered different things and everyone enjoyed their food. I had the Rachel. It was pastrami with cheddar Cole slaw and so good! Even with a large group, the server was attentive and brought refills and even said we could pay our bill separately if needed.

A great place for a ladies lunch!

So, the verdict thus far for the Dandelion Cafe is a mixed bag.

The Pros: my wife and I LOVED both our entrees. She got the Sheppard's pie which was a special for St. Patrick's Day. I got the Thanksgiving day burger which is on the regular menu. First, let me say this Thanksgiving day burger is something I will return for many times in the future I'm sure. Not much else makes me as happy as Thanksgiving in one bite all year round! My wife loved her shepherds pie, she ate every bite and said the portion was perfect.

The not-so-good: so, it was really confusing because the same
