Services
Community Based Rehabilitation Services (CBRS) is a program in which participants learn specific skills that foster rehabilitation and recovery. Participants work one-on-one with a CBRS worker both in their homes and in the community to enhance skills needed to reduce the impact their mental illness has on their life.
The purpose of Kuna Counseling Center, LLC Developmental Disability Services is: to foster independence and enhance quality of living by providing individual and family support that empowers children to make positive changes. Intervention Services, formally known as Habilitative Intervention Services, is available for children from age 3 years-old to 21 years-old who struggle with behaviors and/or has a developmental diagnosis.
I love being part of helping people achieve the happiness they desire. I also believe in the power of family and personal relationships to bring real joy in our lives. These beliefs led me to pursue a career in the field of counseling and obtain my Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (M.S.) from Oklahoma State University.
I (Bethany Townsend) obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-7389) in the state of Idaho. I am also certified through the National Board of Certified Counselors and a member of the American Counseling Association.
I (Dawn Toth) obtained a Master's of Science degree (M.S.), in Counseling Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio Texas. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (License #: LCPC-3421), in the State of Idaho. I have a multitude of experience working with individuals that have mild to severe mental health issues, developmental disabilities, and family systems issues.
