We stayed for one night and will definitely stay again when we are in the area. Both receptionists, check in and check out, were friendly and professional. The room was clean and provided everything we needed: umbrella, reading light attached to the bed, coffee. The full breakfast was a plus. Also, my husband had finished a book he was reading so he left it in the room for someone else's enjoyment. Housekeeping sent me an email asking if I wanted them to mail it to us. In these busy times we are living, I was impressed that they made the effort to make sure we hadn't forgotten it by mistake

Found this hotel through Yelp and booked a stay over this past weekend. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff, and, most of all the absolutely ridiculously comfortable King bed (which we got upgraded to for free from a Queen which was a nice added bonus). It was almost too difficult to get out of bed in the mornings because we were far too cozy. The breakfast service was great although I wish there were more grab-and-go options but that's such a minor thing in an overall fantastic stay. Already making plans to visit the Bay

Friendly staff, very comfortable rooms and a very nice bathroom. This place comes with a ton of extras too such as a hot breakfast daily, pool, outdoor hot tub, and a safety kit with a solar recharging flash light and two glow sticks. Highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the greater Sunnyvale/San Jose area!

My husband and I stayed here while in town for a 2-day Stanford Hospital appointment. Even though it's about a 25/30 minute commute, we went with this hotel because of their very generous Stanford patient discount. (Thank you for doing this!!!!!) The price includes free parking (most closer hotels charge extra) and a free breakfast. (The breakfast wasn't great but let's be honest, what hotel breakfast actually tastes good?) We had bought muffins and juice from the nearby Trader Joe's and ate in our room.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was nice, spacious

Nice hotel. good amenities. no afternoon snax because of covid which seems like a cheat, they accommodated for breakfast, i want to bring afternoon wine to my room :( they were a little rude with me, but thats an everybody thing because im constantly misunderstood and judged. i don't hold it against them too much, but i wouldn't give em points for exemplary customer service and respect. its nice to go places where you feel welcome and accepted. so im not rushing to go back. i chose them because theyre the only hotel in the area that takes apple pay and my wallet was stolen soo i dont

From check in to check out we had a nice and comfortable stay. I really loved the dual shower heads and overall modern room and bathroom. Parking was super convenient! Continental breakfast was also awesome and wasn't just fruit and cereal; they actually serve a real breakfast for FREE!! No extra fees for wifi or parking! The room was super clean!! I've paid much more for hotel rooms in the Bay Area and got much less -- we will definitely be back !!

I needed an inexpensive 1 night stay without sacrificing cleanliness and comfort. This was a perfect stay. Located across the street from Tesla. Check in was easy although the receptionist was confusing explaining where our room was. The bathroom has a sliding door that doesn't allow for the most privacy.
Breakfast- the sausage was greasy and the pancakes were ok with the syrup, they were made fresh yet were cold when I went to eat
them.

I paid $77 for a Tuesday.

A guy (I'm thinking the manager) rudely told us to put on a mask. He said it very aggressively. We had on our masks

Honestly, hubby and I have travelled from West to East and this is the best hotel experience. The bed: perfect. The check in and lobby: classy. The location: wow, everything walking distance, the room: fridge, tile shower, many lights and large mirror, a keurig, emergency supplies for power outage, and even executive chairs that have a towel hanger spacer (that design is so thoughtful), the hallways: vending machines, ice machines. The pool and hot tub: very private and great vibe!!! Very affordable, which can mean hoodlums might make some noise. It was in a very safe location.

With the way things are out in the world these days it was refreshing to find a place that feels safe. They make sure people entering aren't ill. Everyone wears a mask indoors. They even have a way to take your temperature. They sanitize the room and contents. The swimming pool is clean and a nice temperature. They even supply towels. I would definitely stay here again. Oh, and they have a nice little breakfast. You can definitely start your day here.

We were traveling from Southern, Ca when we realized how tired we were from driving. Our kids were hungry and traffic was really bad. As we looked up somewhere to stay, we saw that The Maple Tree Inn was close by, had good ratings, and is pet friendly. So we booked it through our third party app and headed straight over.

On a very busy street, Maple Tree Inn was easy to find and there was plenty of shopping close by. Whether you wanted a grocery store, food, or casual shopping, it was all within walking distance. We first arrived to check in. The staff was warm and welcoming. We did the check

We had sold our house and moved out of the valley about 2 years ago. Growing up in the Cupertino/San Jose area we are familiar with quite a few hotels that we have had guests stay at in the past. Now with aging parents still in the Bay Area we had to find a comfortable and clean hotel to spend nights when we come down to help them out more and more often. After checking on some other hotels in the valley with positive and negative results we have now spent about 60 total room nights in the last year here at Maple Tree Inn. Out of the 60+ nights the shortest being 1 night the longest being 4 nights

The stay at this hotel was the worst by far! My wife woke up at 2am to find ants crawling on her and the bed we were sleeping in to be filled with ants!!! Yes I said it Ants! Not only were they on the bed, they were on the counters! This hotel needs to fix this problem, as I searched through the reviews I also see a previous customer had the same issue. This was so disgusting! Once we discovered the ants I called down to the front desk and explained what was going on and asked for a refund. The refund went smooth as if the front desk employee was used this sort of thing. I ended up leaving the

I'm giving a neutral star review because
Likes:
1. The hotel is not new but very clean but outside the building and inside public areas and smell very good.
2. They provide their customers with masks, sanitizer when you check in. That's really sweet!
3. The room is pretty spacious.
4. Microwave and fridge in the room.
5. Nice size swimming pool and jacuzzi. Especially during covid, you make an appointment for you and people in the same household to use the whole area for 1 hour.

Dislikes:
1. My bathroom door has a big gap. (Can't close completely) Therefore people in the room can

**Edit** The manager has since reached out to us and not only apologized, but made sure we were taken care of. Making our stay and time together much more comfortable. Thank you for taking the time to fix our situation. That is greatly appreciated. I would also liek to add, Felicia at the front desk remembered who I was when I went to extend my stay. That was very nice and welcoming as well.. Once we are comped for 1 of our extra 2 nights, I will gladly uograde to 5 stars as we are very pleased with the phone call and service 5o make our current stay pleasing. Thanks Again !!

Forced into a motel due to the Santa Cruz fire evacuations, I did not completely know what to expect since I had been on the road for over a week before I was able to apply for a motel voucher.
With that said, this place has been simply a godsend: clean and cozy, quiet and respectful, plus a surprise food room service from Off The Grid, I never asked about or requested. Even the suite bathroom was on-par with some of finest in valley.
What a blessing!
The only downside was a malfunctioning vending machine.
Thanks

I am so disgusted by how I was treated here at Maple Tree Inn. First of all, it's hard to even reach out to a manager and every time I call they say 'check in tomorrow, the manager will be in' this happened to me 3x.

A maid walked in on me while I was sleeping at 9am 3/15. NO knock, just walked in, looked at me, said 'oh' then walked away. Check in is at 12pm my disturb sign was on. Even if it wasn't, the maid did not knock. This is completely RUDE and VIOLATED my PRIVACY.

I finally got hold of a manager and said they would apply a discount and an email should be

This is my first time here.

Pros: free breakfast (I.e. make your own pancakes/waffles), decent 42" HD tv, fridge, keurig with coffee and tea, pool and hot tub, evening cookie, managers reception (I.e. appetizers, drinks), free WiFi, and free parking. Hotel staff are professional and nice.

Cons: carpets are clean, but worn, hallway is hot, they don't clean everything everyday (just basics), hot tub is old, no bath tub, and they don't refill room coffee.

I would come back anytime!!!

Stayed there for three nights and two days and we couldn't be happier with the accomodations.
Near In and Out burger.... our first meal every time we go to CA. Free breakfast every morning with a lot to choose from. They have a pool that one could lounge around.
Staff is accomodating and there's always somebody available for any concerns or questions.
Free parking, who could beat that? Will definitely stay here again if granted an opportunity in the future.
