Not terrible, but a LOT of minor irritations.
Try to check in: they can't make a keycard for person in front of me, so I come back later
Come back later - no one at front desk. Eventually shows up (was in the bathroom, but didn't put out any "back soon" sign.)
Can't get AC/heater in room to work, try calling front desk, go down and find 2 people who say they've been waiting for 10 minutes, no one there, I give up
Carpet is stained
Lose my glasses, and while looking for them find an empty beer bottle and a hat
Find front desk person, they tell me to ignore the signs in the room telling me

I don't even know we're to start. I stayed at Hotel Vue for a total of 4 nights on a business trip and can't believe how horrible this place was.
Cons:
-No house keeping
-My room was not as clean as I would like it.
-No breakfast. Even though they state on the website they offer complimentary breakfast.
-Called every night for fresh clean towels
-Poor internet for my zoom meetings. Super choppy, could barely understand others and even disconnected completely while I was speaking.
-Disturbed twice in the middle of a work night when I was sleeping. Front desk was trying to find out who parked

Overall it's very comfortable. The room with a king-sized bed facing the back is spacious and quiet. The staff is helpful. The downsides being the furnishing are a bit old and the staff is not wearing face coverings consistently.

It was noisy. They help 100 deposit for my service dog I didn't appreciate that. Turns out it's not a hold but the ran it as a purchase so now I have to dispute the charges and wait a week to get my money back. I will not be returning.

Solid hotel. Room was nice, clean, and exactly what we expected. Pillows were very nice. Large bathroom. Coffee downstairs, no breakfast. Good wifi for light browsing. Parking in front is limited when hotel is full. Easy check in and check out.

Very Unsanitary and Dirty!!!!
I found multiple bed bugs and worms in my bed!!! I have never seen anything this disgusting in my life. Once we told the hotel staff, they gave us a huge run around for our refund after we showed them multiple bed bugs and other creatures. With that being said, this place is Horrible and I won’t advise anyone to stay here!!!!

Stayed for four nights.
Great location, great price
Dirty room, dirty shower room with hair everywhere , noise from other rooms, the room did not get cleaned during my stay. Didn’t expect much from the price but the condition was even worse than my already low expectation.

My toilet was leaking and the entire place smelled like cigarettes. They couldn't change my room due to no vacancy so I left within 5 hours and didn't even get my money back for that day

This is a decent and affordable hotel in Mountain View area. I stayed here pre-pandemic so not too sure about the current regulations. An important thing to note is that they don't provide breakfast but there are multiple brunch places (Starbucks) in close vicinity

This is a nice affordable hotel in the mountain view area, it doesn't serve breakfast but it is right across from In-N-Out and Walgreens so you wouldn't starve for long. Also Starbucks, Raley's and Peet's coffee are within walking distance. The rooms come with Keureg machines and there is a ice maker machine in the lobby area so your normal beverage needs are covered. The clerk was able to get me a nice room without reservation.

If you would like to test your forensic skills on gathering trace evidence, this is the place to stay. If you don't like hearing the noise of doors opening and closing throughout the night, additional noise in the hallways, and from rooms above, bellow and besides you. This is probably not the best hotel to stay in. There was also an unusual amount of activity at night in the parking lot due to cars constantly arriving and leaving throughout the night.

I heard this place has an 8 star rating?!! If that's the case, some people are lying a little!!?! I mean, there's nothing wrong with it!? Its a little run down... It was clean. Nothing fancy though!! If I came here because of the 8 star rating, I'd be seriously disappointed, is all I'm saying... I wouldn't pick this place to have your honeymoon or anything. But if you just need a place to sleep for the night, that's simple & clean, this is a good place to go!!

This is not the type of hotel you want to go to in the SF BAY AREA! First off the customer service does not exist! They have no concern about your satisfaction! They don't even pretend that it does! The only positive experience that I had is after I paid the bill for 1 night online. She told me that I had to pay a $50 deposit. My money was tight and I only had $45. I got upset with her attitude and I was going to leave but I realized I had nowhere else to go. So I asked her if she would except the $45, and she did. But I have still not gotten it back 3 days later! There was trash out in front

Honestly, I didn't think I was going to like this place when I first got here. The lobby was tiny, the building was thin, and the rooms were smaller than pictured. Even the design felt somewhat dated though you could see the modern design influence in its carpets and color scheme. Still, after half a day and spending it within the room walls I appreciated the quaint nature of it.

The TV stays on the same channel you turned it off on (truly inspired television technology for hotels), the air condition works, and the pillows were the right amount of firmness and softness, impressive for any

This hotel might be worst place I've ever stayed. It was dirty and the staff seemed annoyed by my presence. I tried reaching the front desk and they kept hanging up on me. Super annoying and expensive. What could be worse?

This small cute hotel is actually very nice and welcoming. Although it's nothing fancy like the other bigger hotels. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Plenty of free parking and it always smelled clean. The ice machine is on the first floor and there is Free breakfast that consists of eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, juice, yogurt and other items. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is working and needs a good nights rest or traveling with a family. There is plenty of places to eat walking distance. In and out is across the street along with other stores. Front desk has always went

We had an early morning show time at the local hospital, and didn't want to risk driving through the morning commute from our home over an hour away. (Or two hours away during rush hour!) So we stayed at Hotel Vue the night before, in order to be closer and not have to worry about traffic.

I picked the Hotel Vue primarily because it was near where we needed to be, and because it had good reviews. Those two points were both accurate. Every person we encountered, from the front desk to housekeeping, was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast

Nope. Won't ever stay here again if I'm ever in Mountain View. Insanely expensive (nearly $400 for one mid-week night), tiny continental breakfast sitting area, TV didn't work, shower was so small that I turned around and ran into myself, and shower head was soooo low that it hit me in the private parts (and I'm no giant). Person who checked me out could've cared less about any of this.

Never again...

This was the worst hotel stay of my life. After changing rooms due to cigarette odor, the heater in my room broke. The front desk person would only tour the ground floor with me for a replacement room, and we found one that was supposed to be empty but looked lived in. I settled on a room with the least odor and settled in.

When I came back later that night, to my horror the room still smelled of cigarettes. I gathered my things and went to the car so I could go home, 40 miles away. They had also failed to clean the room because the housekeeping staff mistook the "maid service please"

The picture says most of what you need to know about Hotel Vue. The location isn't very good, the rooms are small, musty and feel like a 'chic' Motel 6. I don't recall seeing a single other guest while I was there and that just added to the dreariness of the hotel.

My biggest complaint is that the rooms don't have curtains you can close all the way. So if you want to lay on the bed and watch TV in your underwear, you better hope somebody doesn't pull their car around and park and shine the lights into your room. Oh did I mention the first floor rooms are just next

Smoorh as lemonade on a smokey day. Gorgeous building. Modern. Updated. Quaint. Check in was uber fast. Friendly and courteous. Last minute online booking as the heat, fatigue, traveling wore me down to the point of looking up hotels at 1230am. Found this place. Glad I did. Convenient location. All the amenities of a 4star hotel. Balconies if available. Parking in front and back of the facility. Safe location. Great bistro in the morning for breakfast. A hot breakfast. Not just pastries. Fruit, Sausage, eggs, on top of pastries and cereal. Rooms super clean, you can wmell freshness and cleanliness

Booked a room for a Sunday night last minute of the Hotel Tonight app and found Hotel Vue. The price was good and the hotel looked quaint from the pictures.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating. My room was very clean and modern with a very comfortable bed. The wifi worked well and the TV had good channels to chose from.

The complementary breakfast in the morning was better than most - cereal, toast, bagels, eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, muffins, etc.

My only complaint would be how thin the walls seemed in the morning - we could hear every door open and close, people
