Hometown garage is simply the best of best if you are looking for quality auto maintenance service outside of dealerships. They have a good rewards program that let you save the most; a good SMS system that gives you quick updates about the repair; a convenient web payment portal; clear communication from the mechanics; friendly customer service from Jenn; and easy pickup and dropoff after hours. I just cannot imagine how a local garage can be so streamlined and successful. Impressive business!

Highly recommend! Always had a wonderful experience coming to Hometown Garage. Excellent customer service and efficient service if for waiting appointments. They send a quick inspection report (different from state inspection) with each visit and are honest with what are some items that may need service in the future. They’re not out to get you to get additional services you don’t need immediately and have reasonable prices.

Hometown Garage is THE place to go for any car repair. They have kept my 2005 cobalt safe and functioning, as well as my newer car. Efficient, reasonable, and outstanding customer service, which is not always the case if you’re a woman dealing with car repair people. I took my car in for check engine light diagnostic, they removed and replaced the oxygen sensor. However the check engine light came back on after a day. The second time it was for air fuel ratio sensor.
Jenn explained the issue was that both sensors needed to be replaced at the same time and owned up the mistake and replaced the air fuel sensor and cleared the faults at no charge.
I highly recommend Hometown Garage they are a honest and reliable Garage.

I used to go to this places several times for repairs. I went their today as I tried to an appointment. The office door was closed and you had to press a bell to get someone's attention. A office lady came out to answer the bell. I had to hold the door while we talk. I was told I can't getting in unless I need pick something up. They used to have shuttle service when you dropped you car for service. Now I had to arrange someone to give you a ride home. I felt they do not care their customers as it claimed to put people first. So I bring my business in other shops as it appears it doesn

Hometown Garage did a wonderful job repairing the rear brakes on my car. Everything was done on time, at the expected price. Staff were professional, and quick to answer questions. The communication was very good; they kept me informed re: progress of work. This was the second time I used this garage (first time was a year ago). Very pleased on both occasions. I have been going to Hometown for several years now, each and every service interaction has been great. They are very thorough when inspecting your vehicle during any repairs. Several months ago I had gotten an oil change and was made aware that my battery (6 years old) was going to be needing replacing in the near future. Well, during this Covid19 situation I hadn't driven my car in almost 4 weeks. Well that did it, I was starting it up or I should say trying to start it up, nothing totally dead. Went to Hometown Garage on the recommendation of a family member and it turned out to be an excellent decision. They were able to fit us in quickly which was appreciated. Staff were courteous and professional especially Joe who contacted us throughout the diagnostics to explain repair options. This is a throwaway account for numerous reasons, however I am compelled to write a review about this business. I had my car towed there this morning for grinding brakes. Although they told me exactly what was wrong with my car and also told me they have a 3 year warranty, and they use the best quality parts, the price was a little higher than I could afford at the moment. My go to shop said they could not get me in until next week. I have a small child and of course safety is first and I could not wait that long. Dropped off my car here last night to have it checked for any maintenance items. A few things that were notable about my experience...I was able to reserve an appointment online and received a confirmation quickly. I was updated by text when the car was checked in, looked over and ready for pickup. I really appreciate when business take the time to embrace Information Age outside of just a basic website.
What was most awesome is that my car did not need anything addressed. I was not pushed do buy anything and I was not charged for the look over. To kick things off, I was sent a digital document

From start to finish our experience with Hometown Garage was excellent. Because of how busy they are it did take us several days to get scheduled for an appointment but that was not an issue for us. Phone communication was excellent and pricing seemed appropriate for the work. We are new to the area and are happy to have found our car repair shop!

They are always honest, the price is reasonable.
When there was a exhaust leak, instead of fixing it and charging me a lot of money, Herb told me to take my car to Lou's custom exhaust and repair since it's much cheaper, which I gladly did.
One time, they over charged me like $30. They called me to let me know it, and offered a refund. I refused the refund so they credited me for next time.
When I was talking about my car not passing the inspection due to really unreasonable gas station's claim (I fixed everything the first inspection's failures
