Pier 41 Seafood

The restaurant was delicious! I got a small plate which was three fried seafood items, baked potato, and slaw. With hush puppies.
The breading was light and tasty and was not too heavy or oily.

We ordered car side pickup, so someone came to take our order, and our wait wasn't that long either. The food was so delicious and the prices were very fair. Our waitress was extremely polite and knowledgeable about the menu.

Drove down to Lumberton on a whim and decided to grab dinner somewhere. I'd heard really good things about this place via social media. The hype is warranted! It's quaint, you can tell 90% of the customers are regulars (always a good sign) and the staff are as nice as can be. The owner stopped by our table (as well as many other tables) just to check in and make sure all was well. We chatted a bit and he was very pleasant and shared some of the history of the place with us. Did I mention that he was also helping his staff on the floor? Amazing!
We ordered 2 small seafood platters, shrimp, deviled

Okay, we went there because they got a good rating on Yelp !! My wife had the "small" shrimp dinner, the waitress brought out the two plates for comparison. The smaller looked like the right size. . There was no way she, even with my help eating a few, could finish her meal
I had the hamburger steak with sweet potato fries and the burger was great.
Once more we win with Yelp while traveling !!

Great service and food. Also Love that they bring hushpuppies and butter before the meal. Just the right amount of breading on shrimp and scallops so you can actually taste the seafood! Portions were good too and I left with a doggie bag of shrimp that I just couldn't eat. We will absolutely be back!

Excellent service and food! Brittany was our server , she did an outstanding job. Wife had broiled shrimp ( had to be at least 40 ) , I had broiled scallops ( had to be 40 also) . Both meals were cooked perfectly. Baked potato and the top 10 coleslaw that I ever had. And I love coleslaw! Kudos to this restaurant, great job. We were not disappointed. 1st time visit but will return .

I've been driving by this place for a couple years now and it usually is crowded. We decided to stop by today. The service was really good. My wife said the salad was good and it did look fresh. I had the gumbo and while it was ok, I wouldn't get it again.

I had the deluxe broiled seafood and it really looked like they put all the raw seafood on a plate, stuck it in the broiler and then sprinkled some seafood seasoning over it. All the seafood was laying in a puddle of liquid and it all tasted the same, watery with some seasoning sprinkled over it. Maybe this was the time I should have

Service is great, food quality is not, my bake potatoe could have been used as weapon it was so dry., and my side salad had bad lettuce. My broiled plate only had 3 scallops

First time in Lumberton. This spot is a must! The portion sizes are excellent for the low price. The wait staff are extremely friendly. Definitely will make this a regular stop when in Lumberton.

This was a fantastic find for us. Pier 41 is a short drive from I-95 and near the hotels. If you like seafood this is the place for you. Generous portions, fast friendly service. Staff very courteous and you could tell really liked working there and loved the owner. BTW, the owner visited every table to make sure everything was perfect. This is a spot that is in our list to revisit.

Really enjoyed the hush puppies. Fried Seafood Trio was very good. Baked potato and cole slaw were just right. And so was sweet tea. Will definately go back on our next trip through Lumberton

Food has always been good since I was a little girl we've ate here. I miss the salad bar. It was the best. This place is great for a family to get together. Very optional menu.

This was our first visit and we stopped because of the Yelp reviews. The gumbo my table mate had was delicious as described. I had the cold boiled shrimp, they were a tad overcooked and about one third of them were not cleaned.
We were not offered refills on our iced tea and had to ask another server to get ours for the check.

The best food in Lumberton!! Don't second guess your decision to stop here. The food's absolutely wonderful fresh and hot. The staff are very welcoming and will greet you with a smile. It's also independently owned with a inviting family environment. This place is definitely a hidden jewel.

Mmmm, just what I was in the mood for; a tasty plate of seafood. The hushpuppies were cooked just right. I ordered the broiled shrimp in their house seasoning, which was quite mild. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. I spied other folks' calabash fried shrimp and they looked reaaaal good too! Ill definitely be back for them and some fish and scallops!

The restaurant has a lot of seating, with the ambiance being casual, bright, and lifely. We were seated quickly and the wait staff were prompt and friendly. Food came out in a timely manner. Prices are fair for the type of food and portions

I was visiting a friend who lives in Lumberton. We wanted a bite to eat and I saw this place. I am so glad that we stopped in.

First of all, we were greeted with smiles and southern eastern nc charm. I joked with the hostess because she sat us over in the corner, I laughed saying that I was in "time out". Just fun banter that she laughed along with, thank goodness ;)

Driving from Charleston SC to DC, up the I 95, happened to be directed to Lumberton NC by the nice lady in the NC welcome centre.
HER choice, formerly a favourite lunch stop has reinvented itself as a bakery, NOT serving HOT meals....... we find ourselves hOngry, enjoying a rest stop....wot do do ?

5 stars isn't enough for this place! It deserves 100 gold stars!! The service and food are outstanding. And the prices are unreal for the amount of food you get.
The key lime pie is wonderful and half the price of any place in Florida.
We will definitely be making more trips to this wonderful find

Was in town for the evening and found Pier 41 Seafood. Their prices are reasonable and they have plenty of options. I ordered the deluxe broiled platter with oysters (shrimp, fish, scallops, and crab), French fries, hush puppies, and a pink lemonade. All of that for $20.01. The food was ok, a touch lackluster but hits the spot if you want seafood. I wasn't expecting to get a crab cake when I ordered this, so that was an unpleasant surprise to receive instead of crab legs but I should have known with the inexpensive cost. Hush puppies: best we've ever had--perfectly fried, balanced sweet & onion flavor
Catfish: well seasoned, tender--perfect
Flounder: could have been crispier
Oysters: 7 in the choose 5! Fresh, crunchy, briny
Clam strips: chewy & tender
Fries: perfect, but should have been under the seafood
Scallops: a bit overdone/chewy
Ribs: fall off the bone, not too sweet
Tea: a little weak
Salad: standard

My wife and I went to this restaurant after driving 500 miles and arriving in Lumberton for the night. We didn't know what to expect but the reviews are 100% accurate! This place was amazing! Clean, busy and absolutely delicious! Great service and friendly people! Even got to meet Steve, the owner. I wish we weren't just passing through but we will come back again just for this!
