The Zachary family began their love of making pizzas in the Waterbury, CT area back in 1956 with the very first Zachary's Pizza House. Through the years, various relatives have continued the tradition, opening Greek and Italian restaurants throughout New York, Vermont, and Connecticut.

We have not ordered from here in a LONG time due to past issues with quality of food & service. Being burnt out on the other restaurants in the area (Saint Pauls, NC) we decided to give them a try again. We are pleasantly surprised. We ordered a Cheeseburger & Fries & Chicken Alfredo. The burger was cooked exactly as ordered. (My husband is picky but liked the burger). I ordered the Alfredo, it came with a salad & bread. The salad....the lettuce was FRESH & filled the container with all the salad mixing. The Chicken Alfredo had flavorful chicken across the top. The whole meal was good. The service

I have gone to this establishment several in the past 20 years I am usually somewhat satisfied with what I order but today I ordered two small grilled Chicken salads I usually get the large but today I ordered small because once before I asked what would be the difference in the two sizes and I was told with the large you get two chicken breast so I didn’t need or desire two pieces of chicken so I ordered the small now I’m thinking because of a previous conversation that I would get a salad the same as the large one with only one chicken breast for 7 dollars and change but what I received is

Fresh, great tasting Greek/Italian food, subs and burgers.. The pizza is the best I've ever eaten!! Crust is crisp on the outside and soft in the middle; the sauce tastes just right as it accompanies the other toppings but doesn't overpower them. I would suggest the Hawaiian or a pepperoni, bacon & mushroom pizza.. 5☆

Been there twice & both times we had a blast. It's what some might call a humble/quiet/low key set up, but it's clean & well staffed. The Waitresses were very nice both times & the food has been excellent.
I highly recommend their "Stromboli " wow, my Brother loved their Chicken Wings, & Pizza & those who came along, loved every bite of what they had ordered too. 👍🤗👍 So we give it, our 2 thumbs up!
My advise to the Owner, just add a little soft, but happy music in the background ... no biggie!
