It is Thanksgiving and I am counting my many blessings. Two special blessings come to mind. First is the birth of my grandson Duncan Winburn. He was premature, weighting only 2.8 lbs. The doctor's prognosis was that Duncan would not develop into a normal child. He would grow up with an underdeveloped mind, handicapped to a wheelchair, totally dependent on others, somewhat of a vegetable.
We should not expect anything more. It seemed there was no hope for his legs to ever develop. Duncan went to numerous therapy centers for help with his legs, most used what I call "assembly line" therapy - one type therapy fits all. Then our second blessing came along. That was Kathy Ganley at Abundant Life Therapy.

Services
Wii Fit contains more than 40 activities designed to engage the client in physical exercise, which consist of yoga poses, strength and balance training and aerobics. We have also added the Bobo which is similar to the Wii in that it uses a balance board to test the patients abilities while playing a variety of different games!
Pilates focuses on enhancing stability of the core muscles while increasing the strength of the body and increasing the mobility of the joints. The STOTT PILATES Reformer is a piece of exercise equipment that allows clients to work with gravity assist or against gravity. It allows a client to be weight bearing or non weight bearing.

Abundant Life Equipment Lending Library was created by Kathleen Ganley because Columbia did not have a durable medical equipment library. This library that lends wheelchairs, standers, walkers, positioning equipment, nerve and muscle stimulators, weights, books and a variety of tools to assist the residents of Columbia in achieving a full, abundant life.
Kathleen Ganley is a licensed therapist practicing since 1981. Her goal is to assist people in achieving pain-free movement through a variety of manual techniques serving adult and pediatric clients requiring therapy for orthopedic and neurological conditions. Kathleen Ganley knows personally about cerebral palsy children.

Very unprofessional lady. I had a 10am appointment; however I was running late. Wasn’t able to make it there until 1030, spoke with Kathleen and she told me it’s ok to still come in. Once I got there I immediately apologize for being late. I guess it wasn’t good enough because she began to talk to me rudely. Asking me if I had a death in my family because iam late. Stating that I had no respect for her and her time. I was willing to reschedule over the phone but she still insist for me to come. After her talking rude to me for about 5 minutes, I realized I no longer wanted her services. Respectfully

Kathleen has been treating our son for 18 months and myself for several months. I can see the enormous progress he has made since we started and the progress he is making now. She has helped with my back and strengthening it as well. She also has lended us many equipments and tools through her non profit org for his treatment and we appreciate that help of not having to consider purchasing such expensive equipments. She is very knowledgeable in physical therapy and she has wonderful therapeutic massage services. In addition, our son absolutely adores Mr. Doug!

My daughter had low muscle tone and was behind her peers by almost two years in gross motor skills. Kathy worked with her in creative and fun ways to build her strength and confidence. Her flexible scheduling made appointments easy and stress free. She was willing to lend us equipment to continue our process at home. Abundant Life holds a special place in our hearts as they allowed our daughter to reach our full potential.

Abundant Life Physical Therapy has changed my quality of life. My knee hurt so badly I could barely walk, and Kathleen REACHED OUT TO HELP ME. I highly recommend Abundant Life! Kathleen has greatly decreased my neck and back pain in a very short time. She is also working with my daughter to strengthen her back and combat the effects of scoliosis. She has taught us the best ways to prevent pain and weakness in the future, as well. Kathleen is an advocate for her patients and she works tirelessly to make sure every person who comes into her office is helped. We just love her!

Honestly I’m not sure where to begin. This review is over due. Kathleen Gantley is truly amazing. She has done more for my Daughter than the two years prior of constant PT, OT, and speech therapy combine. After only one session with Kathleen she had my Daughter sitting with assistance holding her own head up for long periods of time. Since birth my Daughter had only been lying on her back and I nor her current therapists didn’t know she was capable of such a milestone. I could go on forever about Kathleen’s skills but I will end with she is such a humble, selfless, and giving person. Anyone
