Lets start with the basics- the term "hamstrings" refers to a group of three muscles that run along the back of the thigh- the semimembranosus, semitendinosus, and biceps femoris. As a group, these muscles generally act to extend the hip. Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training has been one of the most important recent additions to the worlds of orthopedics and sports rehab.

I was lucky enough as a 20 year old sophomore in college to find my passion for coaching, and knew from day one that this was going to be the career that I would pursue. I have been coaching for 10 years, have programmed, coached, and managed multiple CrossFit gyms across the state.
I have been lucky enough to help coach 2 affiliate teams to the Southeast regional competition as well as 2 individual regional competitors and 1 master's regional competitor. My true passion is helping people move better, feel better, and live better. I want to help all my CPT clients to become the best versions of themselves in any way that I can.

Vertex PT is the best in Columbia! The staff creates a fun and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the doors. I have felt comfortable since my first day as a practicum student and have already learned so much. Brandon and the rest of the team are excellent teachers and make time spent at the clinic enjoyable for everyone who is there.
I would highly recommend Vertex to anyone who needs physical therapy!

I began interning at Vertex PT Specialists in Cayce about two weeks ago and can already tell that I am going to gain tremendous amounts of knowledge from the staff here. The patient-care interaction at this practice is unlike anything I have ever witnessed before. The ability to receive 1-on-1 care from an outpatient physical therapist is rare and should be taken advantage of. I would recommend this practice to anyone that I know in need of rehabilitation. Vertex PT does a great job of creating a fun and safe environment for their patients to grow and learn in. As a pre-physical therapy student

Vertex is by far the best physical therapy clinic I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. One patient, per physical therapist, per hour is such an amazing business model that allows quality care and rehabilitation interventions suited to meet individual needs. Every single PT at Vertex—Dr. Brandon Vaughn, Dr. Josh Jeffery, Dr. Aimee Depelteau, Dr. Thomas DeHaven, Dr. Thavi Chhoun, and Dr. Mara Argyriou are very intelligent, experienced, and motivational physical therapists that I was honored to work with. Their kindness, altruism, and optimism radiates throughout the whole clinic, which

I started going to pt at Vertex due to a car accident. I can truly say that experience and going through physical therapy at Vertex was one of the best experiences of my life! Everyone was so nice and welcoming and I felt very comfortable every time I was there. My therapist was Thomas Dehaven and he was very nice and I was definitely always challenged with my workouts. Lol! Mr. Thomas knew what it took for my body to recover and get back to how it was before my accident and helped me get to that point. I believe I am even stronger than before my accident and if anyone is looking for a place to

I cannot say enough good things about this PT practice. I worked with Dr. Vaughn, who patiently and methodically sorted out a problem that several other healthcare providers had not been able to sort out. He then worked with me over several months to completely resolve the problem. I also had the opportunity to observe all of the PTs at Vertex working with their patients, and I would be happy to go to any of them. They are smart, professional, and very encouraging. If you need to rehab an injury, build your strength, or improve your mobility, give them a call and make an appointment.

I am so grateful I went to Vertex PT after injuring my calf. Each therapist I saw was incredibly thorough and thoughtful as they helped me through the rehab process. They asked about my goals, and gave me a wide variety of exercises to perform as I worked back towards my original condition. I would highly recommend this business for all your PT needs!!

Vertex is the best! Treatment is top notch for sure!! All staff members are not only professional but create a family atmosphere. This week came in for back pain and within a couple of days left with a 40lb+ PR on my cleans!! How cool is that??!! Would recommend not only all of the vast treatments they offer but the personalized athletic training too! An all around wonderful place!

Before I found Vertex, I was cynical about how well physical therapy worked. I had only been to one PT practice where I was scheduled for an hour with a PT doctor along with 2 or 3 other patients. He would give me an ice bag for 20 minutes to put on my injury, then work with the other patients who had the same appointment time. When he returned to me, he needed a debriefing about why I was there again, because he couldn't keep his patients straight. I felt like I could have done the same things at home and saved myself a lot of time and money. I think I went twice, total, before I gave up

I couldn't imagine a better experience. Vertex PT Specialists is a brand new business that has been open less than two months. I came in to see Jim after a vehicle accident that left me with lingering neck/back problems. During treatment, Jim was very attentive to my needs and made me feel better in a short period of time. The staff here is very professional, knowledgeable, flexible, and they work well with insurance/attorneys to make sure your payments are taken care of with as less stress as possible. The place is clean, and much more private than other places i've been to (Not a bunch
