It may be time to consider a nursing home when both medical and personal care needs have become too great to handle at home or in another senior living community. This may be due to a recent hospitalization, or a chronic illness which has gradually been worsening. Or perhaps your parent needs a higher level of care temporarily after a hospitalization, but it's anticipated they will be able to return to home after a period of time.

They sent my mother to the ER because she has Covid. The hospital has found quite a few things that are troubling while in the ER and then being admitted. There has apparently been a significant lack of care with regard to hygiene and post op care for a broken bone that she acquired there from a fall. The communication from staff is non-existent.

DON'T CONSIDER THIS PLACE FOR YOUR LOVED ONE. This place is trash. The whole staff is incompetent/unprofessional. They only care in regards to payments. It's hard to get status updates on family members and they act as if they don't know what's going. I requested my family member to be discharged and they released her with no clothes. She was filthy from her head to her toe especially her hair/nails and hadn't taken any medicine in days. They need to shut this place down.

This is not the old Sterling Place!! I had the misfortune to have to accompany my Sons Grandmother to have his Dad placed in a nursing facility at a very young age. I remember the old Sterling Place from 15 years ago. πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ. I myself work in a Nursing facility. I was so upset that he had to be placed there. But…. When she and I got there to await his arrival and do the usual paperwork.. it was comforting to see him there. We were greeted by the, I’d say Staff!! Administrator, Nurses, Rehab Dept, Business office manager, Admission and many residents. After his arrival, they swept

Having a good experience with my grandmother here. She has dementia and recently it came to the point where she needed more help than we could personally give her. Sterling Place has provided her with the skilled nursing care and rehabilitation she has needed to become as independent as possible. They strive to keep her active while also keeping her in a secure environment. I feel relief knowing she's safe with the staff that is there! - No place is like home, that's why I am rating it 4 stars instead of 5.

One star would be to many to put on this place. It needs to be shut down completely. My mother was there from August 2016-November 2016. Because the flood forced her there. My kids and I visited often. People in the hallway with pee on them and no one tending to them. I honestly believe the lack of care from the staff is what killed my mom. She was doing well when she arrived. The day I walked in on November 13, 2016 my mother couldn't even open her eyes and she was barely breathing. I called the nurse who came on shift at 7 I was there at 9:30AM bc a friend of her called and said she wasnt responding

I made a delivery here and it smelled like urine and cigarette smoke. And on top of that they had two people in wheel chairs trying to push each other around cause no one would help them and everyone looked like they were drugged up. It needs to be shut down
