It may be time to consider a nursing home when both medical and personal care needs have become too great to handle at home or in another senior living community. This may be due to a recent hospitalization, or a chronic illness which has gradually been worsening. Your parent needs a higher level of care temporarily after a hospitalization, but it's anticipated you will be able to return to home after a period of time.

If I could give zero stars I would. I worked at this nursing facility as an agency nurse. Staff was awful- they did not care for the patients. I would come behind nurses that charted medications that were given when they were no where in the building- falsifying documentation is SCARY. Housekeeping was no where to be seen and the rooms had flies everywhere with open container food and spilled juices on the floor. I finally called it quits when a rat crawled across my shoe when I went into the supply closet to get a patient supplies.

My Mom has lived here for 10 years and its ups and downs, but for retired folk with light memory loss and nervous issues its a very decent place!
Much nicer & larger area to move around than similar places further down Florida Blvd and cleaner.
Alot of workers come and go just like most places, but some here are dedicated for years here and i just want to thank those !!!!!!!!

Absolutely horrible place to leave a loved one. I found out the hard way. After my father received poor care here I decided to have him moved. He mysteriously died the night before he was to be transferred to the new facility. That was no coincidence but almost impossible to prove because of my father's health. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM. IF THEY ARE THERE ALREADY YOU HAD BETTER MAKE A LOT OF SUPRISE VISITS.
