I love working for this company. The pay is better than any other company and Pat Melzer the owner is amazing !! She cares about her employees. Christine the scheduler makes sure you are working and takes the time to make sure you are happy with your schedule. I will never leave this company i highly recommend APFC if you are looking for employment or care for a family member.

The owner of this company is in this business for profit and not quality or care. In order to have and keep caregivers who will be happy with their job and bosses you need to pay more. This company solicited me when I didn’t even apply and then felt it necessary to degrade me by being snide when I turned down the position I didn’t apply for by stating they would continue to look for someone who is in the job hunt for the caregiving and not the money. If you look at the owners credentials she is nothing special but a woman who profits a less than a nurse degree and a standard basic CNA these

We used A Passion for Care for 2.5 years and were very pleased. We required 2 caregivers 24/7 and they provided great caregivers that were skilled, attentive and helpful. The daytime caregivers did a great job with all medical needs and provided the companionship and entertainment that kept the days fun and meaningful. I cannot say enough about the wonderful loving caregivers that our mom came to know and love. Over the years many came and went, but the core group became like family and were loving and devoted.

I cannot however, give the same positive feedback regarding the management of this company. I believe that Pat Melzer has good intentions but seems to get easily overwhelmed. I am not confident in her business management skills. I found that when I brought an
