This review is for the BJJ kids program. I took my little nephew out to try out a class. He's a shy and timid little fella, and was super hesitant to go. But with a little bribery I got him to attend a class.
The instructor Leo was real cool and very welcoming. I spoke to him on the side and told him the situation, and he said it was not a problem and that he has taught kids for a quite some time now.
By the end of the class my nephew looked like he had made a friend in the class and came out super excited.
He is now going once a week, and enjoys it a lot.
I even looked up the instructor

I've been training in martial arts for years and I've navigated through different gyms. By far, this gym has been the most enjoyable and effective for my training due to the friendly atmosphere and the coach's knowledge of the sport. He is also great as a kid's coach for anyone interested in signing up their children. Shout out to Coach David for putting his passion and technical experience in a family oriented gym.

I have been training Muay Thai for 10+years yet every time I leave the gym I learn something new. Coach David is very knowledgeable and a lot of the members are either former or current fighters so it keeps me on my toes. Signed up for a year 😊🙏. If your near L.A and you want to learn legit Muay Thai in a comfortable ,clean and friendly environment this is the place.

I have had the pleasure of training with and learning from Coach Leo for over 4 years.
Leo Imai has been a competitive athlete and mixed martial artist for years. To learn that he is now sharing his skill-set with others through coaching is very exciting. I've trained with countless coaches and athletes over the years, but Leo is definitely someone that strikes out (and always will be).
He carries himself with the utmost discipline - a characteristic that is forged through years of hard training. Leo balances this intensity with a very caring and nurturing personality; he pushes his clients

When I get to train under Leo over at Robot, it is one of my favorite classes of the week. He is a great instructor/coach and easy to understand, but what is pretty cool is that he is currently competing in MMA, and smashing the competition. So he can bring in MMA or street defense techniques in to the BJJ techniques while he explains them, which I think is great. I highly suggest Leo for BJJ, stand up, MMA.

I've been training with Coach Leo close to a year now, both for MMA Fundamentals and now Muay Thai. Being an active fighter, he understands and demands the discipline and effort required to succeed and excel. This can be said of most good coaches and mentors; however, what sets Leo apart in my opinion is his personable nature and outgoing personality. On the days when I'm dragging, Leo pushes us as a group and forces me to dig deep within myself and get the most value out of every minute and every round. Yet he makes it really chill and relatable - which is awesome, considering how much

If you're looking for a highly qualified and results-oriented trainer, you've found him! Leo is a great trainer and a wonderful guy. As a woman, I've found the idea of personal trainers to be intimidating. That concept, coupled with the intensity of learning martial arts, can be daunting. However, with Leo it's an enjoyable experience. You'll be learning a sport, finessing your techniques, and improving your strength. Leo works individually with every skill level, tailoring workouts to personal abilities, and then pushes you to the next level. I've been training Muay

I've been training with Coach Leo for a couple of years now, and he is an awesome instructor. When I first started training Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai, he calmly and patiently taught me the basics and let me practice new techniques using him as a test dummy. He never lost his cool with me, even though some of the moves took me a long time to pick up, and he was always encouraging me. He is not one of those instructors who yells at you and makes you feel bad, or one who just pays attention to his favorite students. Coach Leo treats every student with respect, and motivates us to do our best. He

Coach Leo has proven time after time that he is not only a great martial artist but an amazing individual. One of my first coaches when I started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu he never hesitates to take time out of his schedule to help when asked or just voluntary. Always has a smile on his face and is excellent with kids. His work ethic is inspiring and it shows with his accomplishments.

First and foremost...Leo is a great guy! But more than that, he is also one of my favorite coaches to train with because I feel he cares about his students, is knowledgeable in his craft, and is able to put my rear in gear with a tough workout consistently.
Leo was my first coach in BJJ (through a private session). I had never done any Jiu Jitsu before, and although I was fascinated by it, I was also feeling very awkward and nervous about learning a foreign sport that required such close physical contact with a stranger. Therefore, it was a huge relief that "the stranger" ended

There are not enough great things to say about Coach Leo. As a strong competitor in jiu jitsu and Muay Thai, and now an up-and-coming MMA fighter, coach is continually honing his craft and helping his students do the same in a manner that is easy to comprehend. With respect to results, Coach was in my corner for the IBJJF Fall Open and helped coach me go the medal stand. He goes above and beyond to help each student fill holes in their game and is an excellent martial artist.
