I have been living here for 1.5 years! The location of these apartments are perfect close enough to stores but still secluded enough for privacy. The appointments them selves are very eye pleasing on the outside as well as the inside, the property's management is attentive to any concerns I have had and everyone makes me feel at home in my house.

We had a great experience with management at Edgewater my brother is looking to move out here to bakersfield and we looked for a while but they where the only ones who had all the qualities we where looking for in a great price. The manager gave us a whole tour of the property took time to answer all our questions. Thank you.

We have been here for almost 2 years and have been very happy with the location, leasing office/staff, maintenance and community here! Office staff have been very helpful with all of our questions and have helped accommodate us here in several ways. Maintenance and landscaping staff do a wonderful job with anything we need. We love our apartment and its "waterfront" location and joke that it would be absolutely perfect if we could just build a second bedroom off the side 😉 Thank you Edgewater for making this home!

The apartments look beautiful from the outside with well maintained landscaping, but there are issues. Issues with spiders, ants, and frogs. They are everywhere! Got sprayed for ants and they would still come back even though my apartment was spotless.
Biggest issue is move out. I was told I had to get carpet professionally cleaned and the apartment thoroughly cleaned. I paid over $300 to get the carpet and cleaning done and gave the receipts to management. I was told everything was "good" when I moved out, some spider webs and dust but same as when I had moved in. Final move out statement comes

DON'T DO IT!!! DO NOT STAY HERE !! I decided to give them a second chance and rented again after a not so pleasant first go round. They said there was new management....but they are just as shady and fraudulent as last time. They will make up stuff just to keep your deposit, which I think they use towards their upgrading expenses. They charged me for carpet cleaning, when in reality they removed the carpet and upgraded to vinyl after I moved out. It is old, and outdated. The only thing they have going for them is location. I finally understand how people hate this place when they want to move out.
I did the pre-inspection when I move in and there are a lot of web still and some dirt on the carpet, then the previous manager told we will write it down here and when you moved out you can return as if. However, when move out, the story change. The current mamager said regardless the pre-inspection you have to make the apartment clean. Wow, what a great move. I wonder did people ever take full refund back from their deposit.
The door and floor was already broken and none of them fixed, yet they still charged
