This is a two star hotel right under the airplanes and on a busy street. Parking is off the street and free. Super light sleepers look elsewhere. Bargain seekers, locals, and utilitarian types this is your place. I've done both regular rooms and dog friendly rooms. They're about the same and no complaints. Shop around online for the best price staying here and there is a 90% chance you'll be satisfied: accommodations and service are good; the wildcard is what the airplanes, car alarms, and loud trucks do.

We were taking a early flight and wanted to be near SFO, I had a rent a car so needed parking, FREE is possible. The Regency Inn is an older, 2 story motel style accommodations. Room was clean, all the basic amenities. Price was right, Free parking, nice gentleman at the front desk. If you want practical/non luxurious accommodations, I would recommend the Regency Inn.

My family made a quick trip over the long 4th of July weekend to visit my daughter in San Francisco. We decided to stay at the Regency Inn on San Bruno Ave. I was pleasantly surprised that it was such a short distance from the Airport! The check-in process was smooth and easy. The front desk staff were very helpful with advice and directions to some beautiful scenic drives and places to visit in the city. We stayed on the ground floor. Our room was very nice and clean. The bathroom was huge!! You don't find that anymore!! The A/C worked perfectly and the beds were so comfortable. I didn't wake

So I am giving this small hotel 5 stars based on the service we got. We went just for a night and ran into some car trouble. The gentleman at the front desk was amazingly helpful. He allowed us to check out way later than normal as we waited for our tow truck. It was great. The room itself was good some spots on the carpet but other then that it was great. Thank you and if I can I will stay here again

We had a 6AM flight out of SFO. We decided to stay near the airport overnight to avoid the drive in the very wee hours. Regency Inn worked for us, the price and the convenience. All we needed was a place to shower and sleep. Importantly, our room was very clean. Microwave, fridge, iron/board. OK for 12 hours.

When checking into your motel room during a flight layover... always, and I mean ALWAYS look outside to see if the crews installing huge hot water heaters happen to be working on your floor. Better yet: why don't the staff just inform you that hot water will be available in a few or seven hours? Then you can either make another choice, or accept what you get. But when the staff checks you in, then acts surprised when you get dressed to go down to tell them that you have not only no hot water, but NO WATER AT ALL. Wait, what? Geez, us consumers are pretty unreasonable... NOT.
Anyway, after

Reserved a room at Regency Inn and changed room to a handicap room which was not a problem and were able to check in at 2 pm rather than 3pm. At around midnight we thought someone was breaking into our room only to find out it was the front desk person. She wanted to know what our name was and how is it that we were in this room. We gave her our name and told her we checked in during the day she left and an hour later she calls the room again and call us by another name or couldn't pronounce our name. To be woken up twice is unsatisfactory if she had a question about us being in this particular

Surprisingly decent motel, looks a bit sketchy from the road but the rooms are pretty good and clean. Nice alternative to very pricy SFO airports at $300 plus. No weird characters hanging around, which at $200 a night makes sense. Very close to CalTran station and Artichoke Joes if your into a little poker (I am) or. Asian table games.

Clean, non smoking, very close to airport, nice people, free parking and nice complimentary continental breakfast bar. After getting screwed by United Airlines at 1am which forced us to rent a car to drive 7 hours to our destination, the Hertz agents recommended this hotel. It was an unexpected financial hit, but they cut our day rate by $30 since we were checking in at 2am and leaving after 5 his of shut eye. A very good landing after a long, difficult day.

I would have given this place a 4 stars till an incident happened on the last day of our stay there.
We are in a state of preparing to check out, when we received a phone call from the front desk asking us if we will check out, so I did say we were checking out at 11am.
Then after about 2 minutes someone started knocking on our door, and the worst part was he tried to get in, opening our door while we were dressing up. So I shouted and told him that we're dressing up, and he asked me if we were checking out, well I just spoke to the front desk about 2 minutes ago, there's no reason to

My first trip to SF! Very close to the airport. Friendly staff, easy check-in & the rooms are clean...not to mention, cute! King bed is comfy, bathroom is fair sized & the room was pretty big, too. Fridge, microwave, coffees maker, desk with vanity, a VERY NICE dresser alternative (I want one) & nice tv.
Parking lot looks pretty safe, no worries here. :) Free wifi is always a plus, hope breakfast is good tomorrow!

If you plan head and don't bring your dog, you should be able to do better or similar in SF. Look into hostels and just get your own room. I know some come with parking.

Typically, I don't really care about my accommodations, and tend to go towards price above perceived quality. I'm a pretty basic person, and really don't require a whole lot at all. That being said, if I were to visit San Francisco again, I wouldn't have a problem staying at this Regency Inn again.
The staff was polite and courteous to me during my three-night stay, and accommodated my requested late check in on the first night. They gave me their code for their free, albeit kind of slow wi-fi, and let me know of their continental breakfast. When I needed a taxi cab for
