I can warmly recommend this reasonably priced, well equipped, clean and comfortable accommodation near San Francisco International Airport with its friendly staff, free newspaper and free parking included.Spent two nights at this hotel. I'm editing me review as I read the other reviews, and found that just like others it was Priceline who gave me the wrong info that this is a 3.5 star hotel.. this is not and the owners do not claim it to be.
The reception was kind and helpful and the rooms were okay for the price. Good for a nights stay.

We had to fly out to SFO late and unexpectedly for the passing of a loved one. The Hotel 1550 staff welcomed us at the check in counter despite the late hour of arrival. Room was with a king bed. Everything was spotless and no bad smells. Comfortable and restful environment. Extremely hard working and friendly people and hope to visit again

I was surprisingly happy with this hotel because I had a great deal via Hotwire. It had free parking. Air conditioning was strong, no old smell, modern room design and faucets, elevator, headboard light for reading, and very comfy bed. Unfortunately they discontinued breakfast due to COVID but they offer free juice and coffee 24/7. Close to restaurants and 3.5 miles to SF International airport. I would stay there again.
