We believe there is great healing power in our hands. At Back to Action, we make sure our PT's have the time and ability to focus on your needs. This is why we utilize manual therapy techniques in our practice. We choose exercises that make sense. In physical therapy school, Physical Therapists are taught many exercises that just didn't work; they didn't accomplish their purpose.
At Back to Action, we are very critical of exercises and look for the best ones.

If you are experiencing increased pain and stiffening in any of your joints and muscles, manual therapy is often helpful. Patients seek out this type of physical therapy for a variety of mobility issues. Dry Needling is a technique performed by a skilled physical therapist to immediately reduce pain, muscle tension and improve mobility.
Two elite practices came together as Back to Action Physical Therapy. We specialize in manual therapy and individualized exercise programs. Whether you're suffering from a sports injury, recovering from surgery, or chronic back pain, our knowledgeable physical therapists use both time-tested methodologies and cutting-edge technology to help you jump back into life faster and pain free.
All of us have pulled a back muscle at some point, needing to spend a day or two cozied up to an ice pack and a heating pad. But when serious back and lower body pain, as well as stiffness or numbness problems, make it hard to function, you may well have sciatica. Working on strength, flexibility and circulation are all crucial components to treating sciatic back and lower body pain.
By the time people seek treatment for their neck pain and headaches, it's not because of the occasional twinge, but rather for problems that have lasted several months. Common complaints include migraines and tension headaches, not being able to turn one's head fully, all-over neck soreness, stabbing pain localized to one spot on the neck, or pain that radiates as far down as the fingertips.
Shoulders: We carry the weight of the world on them, but don't spend a lot of time trying to figure them out. Yet our shoulders are each incredibly complicated joint systems. The positive aspect of this complexity is that your shoulders allow your body to undertake an amazing range of activities. On the down side, when something goes wrong with one or both of them, it can be complicated to treat on your own.

Deb McKrola and Brenda Seamons, sisters, head this practice They are both exceptional practitioners, take time to get to know you, understand your physical challenges and teach you how to manage and overcome them. Deb has been my primary coach for over 20 years and whether a new limp, an injury or just a tune up, if I do my part and do the exercises she teaches me, I won't need to go back until the next quirk pops up. They know their stuff. Both caring, funny and patient, you will love this team. Back to Action says it all.

Sending a shout-out to Julia for helping me reach my goal of a half marathon. Starting out barely being able to run two miles and having Julia help me manage tendonitis, pulled muscles, and poor form she helped keep my body in action. I ended up surpassing my goals and owe a lot of it to her.
Thanks B2A and Julia!

Great office and staff, compared to other places it's easy to get in appointment wise. They are very kind and knowledgeable. They work with you and don't push you too hard, they push you just enough but not to the point of breaking. This is an office that's worth looking into and going to specially if you're in the area, even if you're not in the area it's worth the drive and the cost. I have to say it is one of the best offices I've been to. So if you have health issues that require a great staff that is knowledgeable and helpful, this is the place for you! Great job I have to say to all members
