We came for dinner on a Saturday night while in town for a race. We were so disappointed! We should have paid attention to the fact that there were few people here despite the waterfront dining and live music. Our waitress was nice, but the food was awful. My husband got the grilled mahi mahi sandwich and it was so dry and tough he said it reminded him of jerky. I got the mahi fish tacos and although mine were not as dry and tough as his, it was obvious that it was frozen fish and it was cold and tough. We also got the conch fritters and they were not good at all. Our friends got shrimp tacos which

I was surprised by how good the restaurant was. Usually hotel restaurants aren't that good! But let me tell you...the fish tacos were one of the best I've had as was their ceviche. Delicious!!!! And. To top it off, our waitress Nut from Thailand who was lovely and provided excellent service. A definite place to return.

We were staying at the resort and decided to check this place out for a late lunch on Saturday. We sat upstairs at the bar and enjoyed a great lunch. My salad and my husband's wings were both pretty good, but the view is obviously what makes this place very special. I would highly recommend sitting upstairs, as I think the view is better than from the lower level. Our bartender/server was very sweet, and I would definitely come back here if we stayed at this resort again.

Gabrielle was such a pleasure to have as our server. She was quick to greet us , offered us helpful suggestions , kept our drinks filled and our table clean between courses. Fast on her feet. The food was amazing ! Kudos to having such a splendid young lady with a great attitude at your fine establishment. We will be back. Great quality experience! Thank you.

Sat down for dinner today and had the most incredible server I've ever experienced. Her name was Gabrielle and she was an absolute sweetheart helping my older family members find what they liked on the menu. She was so attentive to our table and always made sure we had what we needed when we needed it. Planning my next meal there just for her service as it was so outstanding.

Very poor service. The first time had extremely slow service while we watched the server just sitting down texting. Our food order was completely wrong and had to go back. Thought we would try again a couple nights later. We were seated and no one came over to even greet us for over 20 minutes. We got up and left.

We returned to Postcard Inn after a good experience in December. Even at that time, our experience with Jaws Raw Bar was a 2 star at best (burgers burnt, food semi-tasteless, part of our order forgotten, beer menu was inaccurate for the entire 10 days we spent there because their CO2 not working???) but decided not to leave a comment as they gave us the burnt burger 'free'. Came back now, went for dinner at 8:10pm (it is open until 9pm), were seated and given the menus by the hostess. Sat at the table till 8:35pm being completely ignored, noone even bringing water or asking for our orders

We checked out this spot on a beautiful Friday night. The space and view is perfect but the place was quite empty which worries me right away. Why wouldn't there be a ton of people dying to sit here and enjoy this beautiful place?? Well read other reviews as well. We ended up only getting a drink and an appetizer based on my concerns. The appetizer arrived before we got drinks. It was the oysters Rockefeller and they were smothered in bacon bits. After I scraped some of these off and tried the mushy oyster I decided not to eat anymore. I had a glass of wine which took a while because there

I was pretty disappointed by our experience. It was my 3 kids, my wife, and I. Almost all the food we ate had something wrong or disappointing. Our server, Christina, was really nice and great with the kids and even took some of the items off our tab, so I'm glad she made it right, but I hope it didn't come off her check. We still left her a good tip. That said, here are the reasons I had to still give it 1 star and cannot recommend.

Started off with the "fresh" oysters. They were served with a pre-sealed cocktail sauce packet (kinda like a pack of bbq sauce you would get

Honestly we came here on a whim since it was located at the hotel, but were pleasantly surprised! The food was AMAZING! Some of the best conch fritters we had, and the tacos had SO much flavor! Even the key lime pie was fantastic. I will say the service was SLOW, but the view was so nice it's hard to complain. However we did have to ask for things numerous times (another drink, a water, the bill, etc). But the food was good enough I'd come back for sure.

I went here after a run on route 1 for a quick lunch and a drink. As a non drinker I thought I would try a virgin version of their many frozen drinks.

Upon arriving I was seated promptly and the seating area was beautiful with tiki huts and a view of the Atlantic right from their deck. The place was clean and inviting.

The servers forgot to give me water and silverware which after reminding them they promptly delivered. There order of 6 oyster were nice with good flavor from New England and the virgin colada was amazing. It tasted like fresh puréed banana and pineapple and was VERY THICK

Key lime mojito is pretty f#%*}#% good!
Also brought a couple little pieces of lionfish we'd speared. Others chose for it to be fried (CEVICHE!) and it was the best fish I've ever had. That delicate sweet fish with waterside bar batter was awesome! Saw a nurse shark swim by under the railing. Seriously, it's not like a high end place, but what's not to love about good mojitos and a shark?

Not very impressed with this place unfortunately. The location is prefect but the service and food is mediocre at best. It all looks like greasy fast-food. What bugged me the most was all the disposables such as plastic cutlery, plastic cups, etc. Not very environment-focussed for a place literally hanging over the water. I also saw a lot of cans, bottles and other rubbish lying in the rocks around the property. Could do better for sure!

10/24 - The restaurant is at a prime location at the Postcard Inn on the water. We sat on a bench. We were greeted by out waitress. She brought us waters. When I asked her what was on tap, I was surprised that the restaurant didn't offer any craft beers especially from the Keys. No Keybilly, no Key West brewery, nothing. I ordered a frozen run runner, that ended up tasting like a syrupy cherry daiquiri. It was hard to drink.

We ordered the raw tuna and the mahi tacos. The chopped small pieces of tuna came in a bowl with chopped tomatoes and cucumbers and had been marinated in some kind of

Not good. Not good at all. They rely on their waterfront ambiance to carry them. The food is sub-par and the service is beyond horrendous. We waited over an hour for a couple of dolphin sandwiches. And its not even that crowded - a third of the tables are empty. Now I see why. I asked the server after 40 minutes if the food would be up soon. Instead of apologizing or offering to check, his response was to shake his head and say "I hope so". REALLY!?!?!?

If you're trapped at the hotel you may have no choice but PLEASE!!! There are MUCH better places to eat in Islamorada that care
