We were very happy with this hidden gym.
Pool/hot tub is great- lovely atmosphere!
Rooms were clean but did lack a couple things- only one trash can & one robe instead of two for our big king suite; we really enjoyed the jet tub, fireplace, & patio.
The restaurant was great for margaritas & an app, however not inexpensive.
Free breakfast with stay was served at the table & very enjoyable.
I didn't get to check out the fitness center...
We will recommend this place & definitely stay here again!

I’m assuming that this place is /great/ for dinner. Lunch didn’t meet my expectations based on how popular it is, but I still enjoyed it.
We had a decent experience here. We went for lunch and it was very clear that they were understaffed because the service was slow. They also didn’t have the margarita mix for their famous cocktail, so….we went with a different margarita, which was fine.
Club sandwich was okay. Tamales were quite good.

Our hotel stay was only for one night but we really enjoyed our time there. The late check out was nice because it gave us time to enjoy the pool& juccuzi before we had to leave. We had room 162 which was the king spa room. The hot tub inside the room was great & the bed was soft and comfy. Only problem we noticed was that the parking lot was not lit & it made walking to our car feel sketchy.

If I could give this stay 0 starts that would be too much. Let me start off by saying this was the hotel we stayed at in our wedding night 8 years ago because of the atmosphere, attention to detail and all around pleasantness. This time, we decided to stay for our 8 year wedding anniversary and I don't have anything complimenting.

This place is a true vibe. I'm from the East Coast; coming here was quite refreshing. The restaurant's mood is relaxed, charming, and comforting. They had a guitarist who was truly phenomenal. And the food was exceptional. I had the Mar Y Terra, and it was cooked perfectly. Will certainly come back!

I enjoyed all of my visits to Cielos. I looked forward in starting my day with breakfast at Cielos with a fresh muffin, fruit and coffee and excellent friendly staff. Dinner included many selections. I loved their southwest roasted vegetable salad. Wonderful!!!! There were no bad selections on the menu. I must reiterate, the staff at Cielos are excellent. I highly recommend Cielos.

Lodge on The Desert is a solid three star hotel with a few things that occasionally make it feel closer to four stars.
The property itself is beautiful. It's older which means the landscaping is mature, plentiful and around the entire grounds. It's also clearly taken care of with plants and trees carefully trimmed to stay off of guests paths and to create maximum atmosphere. Stays include a breakfast which includes fruit, a muffin, coffee and one of two hot items. I ate there twice and the hot items were the same both days. Ice is located in six chest freezers around the property

Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I've been to budget motels in bad areas that are nicer than this place. We had problems the second we got to our room.
First, we had quite a time trying to get the door open since they obviously did a bad job repainting the rooms and the paint on the door kept getting stuck. Not only was this a pain because we literally had to kick the door anytime we had to open or close it, but could also be a safety hazard since it makes it really hard for guests to fully close their doors. We couldn't even fully close our bathroom door which is

We loved it. Great date night dining at The Lodge on the Desert property. Eat inside, eat outside, eat in the bar area (inside). It’s all good food and fast service. Loved the spicy lobster pasta and chicken over a “grits” like base.
Good wine, beer, and mixed cocktails as well.

Wonderfully flavorful food and delicious margaritas set in a historical hotel complex.
Cielo's is a small comfy restaurant with a southwest style decor and cooking theme. The dining area outside is wonderful but the weather was unbearably hot (108 F) during our visit. We opted to sit in the bar where the atmosphere is a little more sterile (but well cooled by air conditioning).
I had the pan seared barrumundi which was amazing and flavorful and my wife had the ribs which were savory and delicious. The margaritas were flavorful, not too strong and not too weak.
Service was prompt and polite.

Stayed here over the weekend with my young kids & husband. Overall the hotel looked very nice, However, the room was not clean. The floors were extremely dirty- after walking around on them for ~30 minutes both of my kids had very dirty feet. There was also trash on our patio that was not ours. For the money we paid to stay here each night it was incredibly disappointing and I would definitely not stay here again.

I have driven by the Lodge so many times over the years, wondering what was behind the walls. Now I know, an absolute GEM of a rustic, warm and comfortable lodge/hotel. We decided on a little staycation this past weekend here booking a double fireside casita room. We could not have been happier with our stay.

I had NO BED BUGS! Beautiful room & vibes. My stay here was amazing. From the welcome desk , the worker promptly checked me in and wished me a belated birthday and made me feel welcomed. Rooms are beautiful. Fireplace, private outside area , cute decor and amazing whirlpool tub. The outside dining had some light live music. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars is because there was some residual bath product in the tub and the light switches were pretty dirty. Along with the bed it seemed poorly made .
