At La Casita Family Child Care, LLC, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. We offer various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child's growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease.
Services
La Casita Family Child Care uses a play-based approach to learning and care. When we expose children to various learning experiences both outside, in our home, and at local attractions, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. We have been caring for Hennepin County Area children since 2009 and are celebrating our 12 Year Anniversary.
The educational programs at La Casita Family Child Care include Mother Goose Time, Scholastic Books, and custom created materials to enhance our childcare experience. We adapt to your child's learning style and support developmental milestones through observation of ECIPs which are MN early learning standards.

I have been trying to get child care for my now 6 month old daughter and it seems like no one has space for infants. I know it is difficult to find quality care at an affordable rate in the area. I had the pleasure of visiting La Casita Family Child Care last week and wanted to share my experience with them.
I found Malcolm and Gema to be knowledgeable and caring. There were 6 kids there, all wanting to see my little baby. I learned Malcolm is the main provider and his wife Gema helps out when she can but mostly during the summer months. No problem there.
