Twyla will lead you through yoga poses with a focus on breath and awareness, incorporate at Pranayama (breathing practices) and end with a short guided meditation. In climbing the mental state is highly important. Yoga is traditionally the practice of controlling the fluctuations of the mind.

This class will focus not only on building strength and flexibility in the body for climbing, but also focus on mental training techniques that include mindful awareness and breath work.Come find your inner warrior! I have attended meditation and yoga classes Twyla has offered to the community to introduce people to a positive way to deal with stress.
Individual Counseling with Samya Yoga Healing focuses on creating Awareness of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, Taking Responsibility of reactions to the outside world to find empowerment, Learning and using yoga-based tools to cultivate a more calm and steady mind, and Practicing self-compassion through-out the process.
