I (Maria) was walking down the street and noticed that they were opening a new yoga studio. I had just finished my training and walked in to see if the previous owner needed teachers. She (previous owner) hired me on the spot. I taught there for 2 years before the owner decided to move back to her hometown and asked me if I would like to buy the Yoga Patch.

Any class guided by Anna Koehler is the perfect gift to give yourself or anyone you care about and humanity at large! I participated in my first evening class with her last night and slept better than I have in months and literally woke up laughing several times!
The sincerity in her guidance is awe-striking and will change your life.
Anna has the gift of transforming the confines of a physical space into a universe of endless possibilities.
Her practice encompasses all of our senses that frequently get overlooked in western yoga practice.
The powerful healing properties in her voice alone

I love this place. The Hot Yoga Series with Tiffany is my go to but I have done hot yoga flow and Hatha and both have been great, especially for a newbie. When asked what I wanted for Mother's Day I told my daughter a gift card from Yoga Patch and just like that I received so that will keep me coming back and immersing myself on this new journer.

I have been following Yoga Patch since being on Wornall. U can’t find a more caring group of like minded people in the area. I can’t say enough about how they have trudged thru the pandemic and still created a since of calm and belonging. I feel lucky to attend a safe/ social distanced/ masked class when ever I can ( and on line when I can’t). Thank you Maria!

So far so good, I have only attended one class so far but it definitely made me want to go back. I love all the plants and the whole calmness about the building and the yoga session was amazing. I plan on trying every class they have, it's an amazing way to get out of the house right now and they are very mindful of social distancing.
So 3 weeks in and still loving it. Will definitely keep going.

Best yoga class in KC on Wednesday night at yogapatch with Anna K. The room is gorgeous.... candles, a fireplace and it smells amazing. The music is fun and hits exactly on point with the movement. The combination of escaping into this gorgeous studio with an awesome instructor for relaxation while simultaneously getting an awesome workout is top notch

I've been practicing yoga for about 15 years, and when I moved back to Kansas City after college, I found Yoga Patch online when looking for a place to practice regularly. The first class I took was Rachel's Hot Flow, and I was immediately hooked. So much so that after about 6 months, I joined their new Teacher Training program. It's been about 4 years since I first walked through the door, and not only do I still hit up Rachel's class when I can, I now teach 3 classes a week and attend others regularly. I've seen this studio become a community for so many who needed one, a home for small businesses

This is my new Saturday morning spot! I went to the hot flow with Rachel at 930 and it was the perfect way to start my Saturday.
Make sure you get there early if you want a parking spot in the lot.
There are plenty of other things to do at yoga patch. They offer many different types of yoga classes for all levels and there's also a float tank.
I highly recommend.

I found them a groupon and that was one of the reasons I ended up here. I like the class variety and options they offered. They have aerial yoga, prenatal to most common such as Hatha. I like that they offer evening classes as well as weekend. They also offer pay what you can.
The studio is beautiful, calling to my heart with all the plants inside and out. The patio is so pretty, I just want to sip on coffee and hang out there.
My first class was Hatha, it is small and personal and the instructor takes the time to make sure you are doing the poses correctly to maximize your experience. Hatha

Gwendolyn White (Buti Yoga)is extremely disrespectful & very standoffish. I’m beyond disappointed that we need to find a different yoga studio considering me & 5 of my friends were about to purchase a year upfront memberships. She’s put a sour taste in our mouths. You’d normally expect to be greeted by a yoga teacher kindly & respectfully. Typically they tend to have a sense of zen about them but the negative energy was very unwelcoming & discouraging.
I understand that one teacher shouldn’t dictate the overall vibe of a studio but we’ve never been so incredibly disrespected in a yoga

Holy hell. I took my first Buti yoga class here and it definitely kicked my buti!
It has been awhile since I have been in a yoga class so I am by no means an expert yogi. One of my friends saw online that a drop-in class here was $5 so she invited me to try a new studio with her. The Yoga Patch has a totally different vibe from any other studio I've been to. It pretty much covers everything you need- yoga classes, massage therapy, sauna and spa, and a cafe!
Buti yoga was also unlike any other yoga class I've done. It kind of mixes Vinyasa yoga and dance and it was hard AF! I really

I always check out yoga studios when I'm traveling. Yoga Patch did not disappoint. I went to Tuesday 9am hatha yoga with Danika. I appreciated the pace, modifications, and challenges she offered. My classmates were a mixed bag of ages, genders, and skills; proof that yoga truly is for every body! The studio was large and spacious. The waiting areas were welcoming and not over crowded. The space seems to offer a wide variety of healing arts, including massage and a float tank. I'll be back again this week and will encourage my family to visit!

I REALLY love yoga patch. I especially love Kelly. It's kind of pricey to pay per class ($15 I think) so I'm considering buying a punch card. The studio is very beautifully done on the inside. It does not look as big as it is from the outside. Parking can be tricky, but there is street parking available. I've only tried the restorative yoga, but it is very relaxing and calming. Exactly what I want out of a yoga class!!

Love Yoga Patch! Love love love freaking LOVE.
I redeemed my Groupon and the first class I went to, I didn't feel any less like a customer (you tend to get that feeling when you use Groupons).
Kristina's Hatha Flow class was unreal. Her smile and attitude was so great; AND, she doesn't call you out like other studios tend to do - she actually takes the time to walk over and guide the student to push deeper into the posture.
The next night I went to the Vinyasa class with Joanie - also, unreal.
I've been practicing for a couple years and Kristina and Joanie's shavasana

If you're looking for a place you can practice that is very down to earth, non-judgmental, and affordable - then YP is the place for you
Yoga Patch also offers classes for children (and families) almost every day or the week. I've participated in these on/off since the studio opened, and I can tell you it's been a huge blessing on us.
The monthly unlilmited is probably the best in town, and better yet..... PAY WHAT YOU CAN CLASSES!
Caren (owner) is the instructor I have the most experience with, and through her classes I've learned the "why" behind certain poses
