If I could leave 0 stars, I would. What a ripoff. RUN DON'T WALK away from this place. Upcharges, lies, deceit. Immediately upon arriving, I'm asked if I wanted to get eyes dilated or pay $80 extra not covered by insurance but then Oksana added that paying extra is like upgrading to have a better mammogram! What? Of course, that leads to a yes, which is manipulation. I've never had to pay extra to not have dilation! I've been going to eye drs for more than 30 years. I've switched to Dr Levy's office a few years back and now all of my family comes here. Dr Michele Levy runs a professional and welcoming office. Everything is on time and everything is with a smile. Dr Levy takes her time and explains various options well. Her staff is excellent as well as patient. When my daughter started with contact lens, they really made her comfortable and worked with her until she was able to deal with the daily contacts on her own. Highly recommend!!!

I am stunned to view such negative comments on such a great optometrist! Dr. Levy has great bed side manner. She makes going to the eye doctor fairly easy and comfortable. Both her and her staff are fully engaged and knowledgeable. I wouldn't trust anyone else to take as good care of my eyes!
As for her emphasis on checking for glaucoma, I deeply respect her persistence. My family is genetically prone to this disease and I have never met another doctor as concerned or helpful in protecting my eyes.

I think it is fairly clear that Michele Levy and her office is very possibly in the practice of insurance fraud, or at the very least have highly questionable billing practices.
Let me elaborate.
I wear glasses/contacts, like much of the population, so I went to Dr. Levy for my annual exam. Everything went smoothly and normally. At one point during the exam she commented that my eyes were a little red, which I told her was due to a rather late

This practice is a freakin joke. The clowns here automatically schedule you for recurring annual eye examination. I got a voicemail on the anniversary of my first visit saying that "we scheduled you for an eye exam for next Tuesday 2pm" this is after I've had a major dispute with these clowns. 非常下流的医生。 想钱想疯了。

This is the single worst dr experience in my life. I went in for an eye exam, after spending $500 out of pocket she and her office refuses to give me my prescription unless I go back for multiple fittings. Fed up with her office, I ended up going to west med in rye and paid $100 (without insurance) and got a thorough exam and a prescription at the end of my exam.

I don't know what any of you are smoking but I was in and out in one appointment with excellent service, very warm and inviting, and most of all, love my ladies there! If you think its too expensive than go shop at Costco. These ladies came through for me when I needed most. I went on vacation to Las Vegas and was to see a 3 day festival in which I needed glasses and contacts, it was a Thursday before the show, meaning if I missed this window my show would be ruined because offices close on weekends and I was already out of state. long story short, they overnight shipped my prescriptions and glasses

I don't even know where to begin. I would give her negative 5 stars if possible. She has terrible bed side manner and is rough during the exam. She comes across as only caring about money and not caring about her patients.

I visited Dr. Levy's office for an eye exam, glasses and contact lenses. Though I found the doctor to be helpful, there were many challenges with the reception/ billing department. The office indicated they accepted my insurance, but when I was presented with a bill there were no discounts. This required that I call the insurance company and have them contact the office to sort it out. I then needed to review the itemized receipt with the receptionist, who made additional errors. I had no issues with Dr Levy's abilities as a doctor, but I agree with other reviewers here that Dr Levy resorts to questionable business practices.
On the form I filled in, I had specifically refused the $60 test not convered by insurance. However, this test was still performed and I was charged for it.
When I mentioned to the assistant that I had indicated specificially that I did not want this test, she retorted saying "You did not stop me when I was doing the test". I am not a doctor and I do not know which test is called what (so how am I expected to stop her?). If my answer on the form
