Services
After over 50 years of compassionate care for families and their loved ones, Sandy Funeral Home is well known in the community for personal service and genuine care. Our Funeral Home began like many other small businesses in the country; in a re-modeled home as a family endeavor. Over the years we have grown with the community and although the building has changed, the heart and soul of our commitment to service has never wavered.
Staff members of Sandy Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Paula, Ken's daughter, has lived in Sandy her entire life.
Sandy Funeral Home is located on Pleasant St. one block north of westbound Highway 26 (Proctor Blvd.) in the heart of Sandy. Parking is available adjacent to the building, across the street and along the street. Our chapel comfortably seats 150. We can accommodate approximately 200 guests by including the family room and additional seating areas.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.

We lost our Mom in January this year. From the moment they picked her up to when we received her ashes and death certificates everything was seamless. This funeral home is absolutely fantastic. They are caring, compassionate and most of all not pushy what so ever!! You can tell they care about what they do, and are experts with the grieving family. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you all of you for helping through this awful loss. Bless you!

The staff made the most tragic event in my life bearable. They have the most amazing staff. When my sister passed, Adrienne was always available to ask questions and help us with our needs. She was truly a heaven-sent blessing to us and our family.
