Services
Your vision is one of your greatest assets. Annual eye exams and consultations by our staff of experienced, skilled eye practitioners not only insures your vision but can assist in the detection of serious underlying health problems. Early detection can often prevent long term damage. We believe your eyes deserve exceptional care.
If your child is having difficulty with reading, seeing the board or with schoolwork in general, our eye care professionals can help identify and resolve any related vision problems. Our doctors recommend that all children have a comprehensive eye health exam by age 2 to help rule out any childhood eye disease or issues that may affect the development of good vision.
Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) is the leading cause of severe vision loss in adults over age 50. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that 1.8 million people have AMD and another 7.3 million are at substantial risk for vision loss from AMD. This eye disease occurs when there are changes to the macula, a small portion of the retina responsible for our central and color vision.
At Garden City EyeCare, we believe you should never have to settle for less when it comes to your precious eyesight. Our doctors, working with our registered opticians, carefully evaluate your prescription and visual needs when recommending the type of lenses and treatments that best match your lifestyle.
From single use disposable to rigid gas permeable to the new soft/RGP hybrid lens, our doctors will find the right lens for you. Whether your goal is full time wear or part time for social, sports or recreational activities, the goal of Garden City EyeCare is to meet your visual requirements. Teens, adults and even youngsters are being fit successfully every day for all types of lens wear.
