Advanced Eye Care Associates was founded in downtown Providence in 1927 with a commitment to providing the highest quality care for our patients and we continue that commitment today. We provide comprehensive eye care, from routine examinations for glasses or contact lenses to highly specialized procedures for eye conditions such as glaucoma and cataracts.
Dr. John D. Corrow completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Binghamton University in upstate New York. He went on to receive his Doctorate in Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York City. While there he had extensive clinical exposure rotating through primary eye care, pediatric eye care and contact lens clinics.
Dr. Matthew Doyle's college career began at the University of New England in Biddeford, ME where he graduated with a B.S. in Medical Biology. He then went on to graduate with a Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. He completed his externships in primary care optometry at Martha Elliot Community Health Center in Jamaica Plain, MA and Newport Naval Health Clinic in Newport, RI.
Dr. Sylvia graduated New England College of Optometry in 1986, is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the college, has a private practice in Cambridge, Ma where he sees patients and trains interns, and joined the Advanced Eye Care Associates practice in 2016. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of Community Research Initiative in Boston.
Dr. Jared Cox graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina and earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. While there he received training in primary care, pediatrics, vision therapy, vision rehabilitation, contact lenses, and ocular pathology.
