My daughter and I booked a room here for our visit to Skidmore, and were very excited for our stay. We much prefer to support local businesses and always go out of our way to seek them out. The Springwater looks adorable and the rooms great.
Unfortunately due to personal reasons we had to cancel our trip at the last minute and I emailed Leslie, Matthew & Lyn to let them know. I got no response from anyone.
The night of our reservation they called me twice. The first call I was unable to answer, but when I answered their second call they were asking when we were going to arrive and they seemed

My husband and I stayed at this fantastic BnB. We highly recommend it. The level of service was phenomenal. Thanks to Gerard for making us feel so welcome yesterday. The room was super clean, staff was very friendly and the breakfast / scones were absolutely amazing. When we got to the BnB yesterday its was pouring outside. We were greeted with umbrellas when we arrived. The service was one of the best and we will definitely be returning. Thank you again for making our stay so amazing!!

The whole B&B was first class, From the check in w/Gerard, to the communications w/ Lyn and Leslie in the months leading to arrival.Lyn and Leslie and the whole staff run it like a 5 star property, the room was better than anticipated , we stayed in the Travers suite with its own kitchen, its like an apartment on the third floor, very quiet and secluded, from check in to check out we were treated great, breakfast each morning was something to look forward to each day.We can't wait to return and stay again,

I had relaxing and perfect stay at the Springwater. This family-run Bed & Breakfast sits on a peaceful quiet street close to the horse stables and track. (Also a lovely stroll to downtown and restaurants). I enjoyed the calm of sitting on my private balcony looking into the trees. The Springwater is immaculate and the vibe is a breath of fresh air. The breakfast on the porch is one of the best experiences on my trip to Saratoga Springs. The family and the Corgi are so warm and welcoming. Luxurious suite with all the bells and whistles- claw foot tub, rainwater shower, 2 sitting areas, kitchen, gas fireplace, balcony, 2 walk-in closets, queen sized bed! Very charming staff who work hard to make your stay memorable. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. Convenient to the downtown area and the neighborhood felt very safe and peaceful. I definitely hope to return!

Every thing was perfect. We were greeted by Lyn who showed us around and explained all the details. We stayed in the Springwater Suite and it was amazing. It was roomy and beyond clean, and the fireplace was such a great touch. Breakfast in the morning was delish and sitting by the fireplace made it even better. We had to leave a night early due to a storm but we will be back. I highly recommend staying here.
