Our clean and comfortable accommodations feature non-smoking motel rooms and cabins, priced to fit the family budget. Our amenities include a solar heated swimming pool, barbecue grills, picnic tables, children's playground, swings, Wi-Fi, guest kitchen, free morning coffee and tea and a convenient stop on Lake George Village's trolley line.

Each of our rooms, cabins and efficiency units has a private bath, air conditioning, heat, cable television and refrigerator. We stayed in a cabin at Brookside Motel and had a wonderful 3 days! Nice cabin, great location near a brook so it seems like you're in the country. The cabin was clean. The bathroom was small, you couldn't turn around easily in it. The housekeeping wasn't the best, I don't think they actually were in the room more than once or twice in the 5 nights we were here. Management was helpful.

Horrible, old, dirty. Hair in sheets, all over bathtub and on toilet. Looked like they just made the bedding from the last occupant. Wouldn't switch room. Had to wait for someone to strip bedding and disinfect bathroom. Claimed to be fully booked but did a Google search and online said a few rooms still available. Poor service in the office and no discount for the gross room. Don't recommend and would never go back.

Stayed 3 nights instead of 4, left early due to foul odor in our cabin. Stay was paid through 8/29 Pool was nice, “Brookside cabin” was truly located next to a brook. The rushing water helped to mask the sound of the highway. There are two grills and a kitchen available for everyone to use. Guests do not keep the kitchen or grills clean. We purchased Lysol wipes, utensils and aluminum foil for the grill. AC unit was dirty, we requested the housekeeping staff clean it; they did. Room remained smelly and the odor increased over the course of our stay. Manager was very angry when we checked out

Nice cabins and rooms - Outdoor pool. Seems like some of the rooms have been updated as they look more modern then some of the motels in the area. Right near the lake George village so you could even walk if needed. The brook is amazing to listen to and seems so loud for being so small. Nice deck was added to the rooms that overlook the brook. fire pit near cabins is a great way to meet some people. They have a full kitchen for guest use along with a outdoor grill station. The rooms were clean and the maid staff was quick. We ran into no issues while staying. have been using them for a couple years

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was just okay. We got a room with a kitchenette, but never used the kitchen because it was dirty. The silverware drawer had sticky juice or something in it, the walls of the kitchen were dirty and the plates smelled moldy. Also, the wifi only worked for our first day and stopped working after that. When my husband asked about it, they gave him an attitude and said it was working fine and to open the window for it to work. It didn't work. The Pool was a good size and clean. The housekeeping came regularly and did a good job. The outside brook was peaceful. We will

This place albeit cute and this place was not clean at all dead bugs in the bed. Cobweb city Stains all over the place basic cleaning totally neglected. The people that run the place aren't even friendly and understanding about how important cleanliness is during a vacation stay let alone a pandemic. I understand that being understaffed is a problem but not worth letting people check into filthy rooms where the bed linen looked previously used ... thank heavens for sleeping bags. And hammocks I brought. The the place is in need of major repair and TLC. It's a shame the owners arent giving it the

Not sure why this place has mixed reviews.. It was PERFECT. My boyfriend and I stayed in a full cabin and the size was perfect. So so clean. The cabins are located over a cute bridge and its so woodsy. Quiet and you can hear the water from the room! Located right near the avenue! Lovely family that owns the place! They decorated the outdoors with string lights at night, and the pool was perfect! We’ll definitely be coming back! 10/10

Room was infested with bed bugs. Management's response to the issue was paltry and inadequate. Room was semi clean.
Located within walking distance to Lake George Village and the motel has a brook running behind it.
The stay would have been okay if it wasn't for the bed bugs and managements response. By the way they refused to move us to another room even though another one was available.

Photos are over the course of three days and are pictures of the bed bugs

The Brookside Motel is my "go to" hotel in the Lake George area. It is only a few minutes away from the downtown area and music festival venue. The rooms are quaint and cozy and far enough away from the road that you don't hear the traffic. There is also a nice brook behind the motel that gives you some necessary ambiance away from the hustle and bustle! The owner here is probably my favorite part to be honest, he is such a kind man and went above and beyond to make sure my boyfriend and I were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Another awesome perk is the trolley that stops

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights this past weekend and it was lovely. The cottage we stayed in was very clean, comfortably cozy and quiet. We were pleasantly surprised. The motel owner was extremely kind and appreciative, which you don't find very often these days. They even had a cottage set aside for all guests to use as a kitchen with a full fridge, microwave, utensils, tables and chairs, stove and oven, etc. The parking lot/wooded area has a fire pit for guests to use and a picnic table. There is a beautiful little babbling brook with some rocks to sit on adjacent to the

We checked out Hotwire and found this motel. You always take a chance when booking places on these sights. You just hope for the best. We were not disappointed. The rooms are clean. It's close to all the action. The owners are pleasant. The brook that runs behind the building is picturesque. I would definitely come back here. The location is great. We enjoyed sitting in front of our room in the evenings. We will be back!

I got this hotel with little to no knowledge of it. After arriving it was a pleasant surprise to see that our room was all in order when we arrived after the ten a clock check in time. We had a small issue with our shower head due to the fact that it malfunctioned in some way. Things do happen and it was not the end of the world for us. The owner was very nice to us and apologetic. He gave me and our family an additional room which were able to shower in. The staff were all very professional and there for us. The Motel was very close to town and we were delighted to find out there was a trolley

Now that I have been here for a full day I can honestly say this is a very nice motel. I have a thing about cleanliness, and the room/ cabin is very clean. The cabin I'm in is small, and the bathroom tiny, but efficient. There is a brook with fire pits and plenty of wood, several grills for cooking and a guest kitchen. The owners are extremely kind. The bed is very comfortable. There is free WiFi and cable. There's a pizza place across the street and the location is with in walking distance to the village, but far enough away for peace and quiet. The only reason I didn't give it

Stayed here for a long weekend with my boyfriend, we both enjoy our time on the property.

The rooms are basic but are clean and have everything you need. The property is very well maintained and includes extras like a pool, shared use outdoor grills, and coffee and tea. The proprietor was very friendly and seems to care about guest experience. The motel is walk-able to the shops and restaurants on Canada St. and the Lake itself.

I would recommend this location to anyone looking to enjoy Lake George on a budget.

Quiet, quaint and affordable. Some rooms were updated more than others. Tv's were flat screen and pool was in good shape. If you're looking for a place to just rest your head at night then this is your spot.

We stayed here for the first time this past weekend. The owners were very nice, our cottage was very clean and the air conditioning was cold!!! What we loved most about brook side was the community; everyone was friendly and many of the people I met at the pool had been coming back for years. We look forward to coming back year after year as well.

Although this motel is dated, it is very clean. I am very picky about choosing places for my family and I to stay in, and the #1 thing I always look for is cleanliness. I read the other reviews, and they all said this place was nice and clean. They were correct. The bathroom, tub, toilet, floor was clean. All the sheets were white and clean with no stains. The refrigerator was also very clean. The gentleman at the desk who checked us in was also very cordial and polite. They do have an outdoor pool, that has a small section that is 3ft deep, then 5ft deep, and most of the rest is 8ft deep. I did

Was looking for an inexpensive place for myself and my family to enjoy Lake George and stumbled on to Brookside, to my delight I couldnt be happier w pick!Used to stay at Scotty's down the block but their rates doubled after renovation and I don't care for new ownership, anyway I highly recommend going with a cabin here there are 10 of them and it overlooks a beautiful and tranquil little brook that runs into the lake they have barbecues situated right near it along with picnic tables , our little cabin was extremely clean had two full beds a full bathroom with shower stall ,closet ,dresser

Wonderful place to go. The motel rooms are nice and have a brook running right behind it. You'll always hear the brook running and can look at it/take pictures at your own time. They provide you with an outside kitchen, board games, BBQ stands, swimming area, and sufficient parking. If you pay a bit more, you can also get a "mini house" which looks more home-like and doesn't share walls with the other rooms.

I would definitely stay here again if I revisit Lake George. What I like is that this motel is a block or two away from the crowd of motels on the same street; this means

We stayed at Brookside for Memorial Day weekend and we really liked it. If you're expecting a 5 star modern resort that's not going to happen because it is not available in Lake George; we've been coming to the lake for the past 5 years and the previous motel experiences right in the heart of the village were mediocre to say at least. we stayed at the Georgian last year and was supposed to be the best around, we paid 3 times more and we were extremely disappointed. This year we were just looking for a comfortable, clean and affordable place to stay and this is it. ; we really liked

You get what you paid for. The Cabin we stayed in was cute a bit tiny but it was still a good time. We didnt get the whole trolly thing so you pretty much need the car to drive to town or anywhere else. Never got to go in the pool but it looked very nice. Overall it was just ok.
