I've never lived here and this complex charged me $8,300 for 2 years. Never even stepped on the property. I've tried calling and calling and calling. No answer, but they absolutely have no problem spamming my inbox or having their finance issuers bother me CONSISTENTLY. This place is a SCAM. I've never lived here I have proof and a lease contract from the actual apartment I lived at. Horrible.

I personally enjoyed living at the Village, even though there were some downsides. Here are the pros: The apartment was spacious (especially the kitchen) and the multiple bathrooms were definitely a perk. It was great to have furniture included, as it eliminated the onerous task of carrying furniture up flights of stairs and reduced the up front cost of furnishing the apartment. The gym and the pool were super nice, and I loved having a shuttle so that I didn't have to worry about parking on campus. Here are the cons: The shuttle broke down A Lot and one of them would almost constantly be

These are nice-ish apartments but not worth the money. The shuttle to campus barely runs and you have to take two city buses to get to campus when they aren't running or the apartment furniture is cheap. They do everything they can to get you to renew your lease but you could be getting so much more for your money much closer to campus. Don't live here unless its your last resort, which it probably won't be.

After living here for two years, let me be VERY CLEAR: avoid for your health, safety, and financial stability. This apartment complex will attempt to screw you out of every penny they possibly can. They are slow at solving problems, unresponsive, and have terrible management. When we moved in, my roommates and I each paid a $250 redecorating fee and a $300 deposit. We cleaned the entire apartment very well (I worked for a cleaning company throughout college that does move out cleans) and they are trying to charge us a $150 cleaning fee per person, for a three bedroom apartment! That's $450

This was the WORST place you can choose for housing. The apartment seems nice until something inside breaks and it takes 2 weeks and numerous calls to fix. Don't look past the speed bumps the first time either, it takes 5 minutes to get in and out of the complex every time you leave. MANAGEMENT IS AWFUL. They refuse to work with you on any problems that you may have and will do anything in their power to charge random taxes or fees onto your bill. I had a problem towards the end of living here and it took FIVE days of calling and leaving voice mails in order to finally reach someone. I was

DO NOT LIVE HERE!! I would give 0 stars if I could. My daughter has hated living here. The electric bill has been outrageous. The front door doesn't have a seal around it. The place was filthy when she moved in. Her toilet was broken and leaking into her room the entire first week she lived there. Her car was broken in to and there are no security cameras outside. She has felt unsafe the entire time she has lived there. Hidden costs and it is furnished but the furniture is extremely cheap and didn't last.

I wish I could give this business 0 stars. I moved out last year and it was a horrible experience from unprofessional staff to dirty apartment. Management loves to bill you for everything. Unfortunately, I am still dealing with this poorly ran business five months later. I moved out the first week of May and was told I could keep paying monthly for rent, which I continued to do at the first of every month. I started to receive phone calls from a collections agency in July, explaining I owed a huge balance of the last two months rent. This does not add up with being told I could pay my remaining

Absolutely horrible experience after 1 week. Moved my daughter in last week....so far refrigerator doesn't work after management mentioning it's new. Just threw away $360 worth of perishable food because after 5 days they finally responded.
They failed to mention the WiFi requirements. Had to figure that out on our own.
There's was a moldy rag left in the garbage disposal that they never removed while cleaning and it was completely disgusting to discover. They clearly do not inspect the units thoroughly before renting them back out.

My roommate and I arrived on our move in date and the entire place was covered in dust and grime. The fridge and freezer still had several rotten items from the previous tenants; the entire carpet wreaked of pet urine and sour smells. Ironically, they left us a pamphlet on our counter remarking confidently that our place was perfectly ready and prepped for our arrival - ha! All of the furniture in the living room had white stains that even bleach could not remove. We covered the furniture to prevent The Village from deflecting the charges/liability on us for their apparent need for replacement

Don't live here! It's the most awful apartment complex I've ever lived in. I just gave one star only because otherwise I wouldn't be able to leave comments here.
The monthly rent is highly overpriced for what you get here!
Management is very unprofessional and impolite. They refuse to deal with noise issues, pot smoking and others when brought them to their attention. I was told to call police myself to resolve the situation.

The apartments/floor plans are nice, and the amenities are fine. However my roommate and I have encountered persistent issues with the management, including several unannounced visits by maintenance and being charged for repairs that we clearly marked on our reports when we moved in. But worst of all, the shuttle service is an absolute disaster. Something that every college apartment complex needs, especially one as far off campus as the Village, is a dependable shuttle service. Far from that, the shuttles are always full, constantly out of service, and never on time. During winter is the worst

Relatively new-looking apartment complex obviously designed to have eye-candy amenities in or near the main office building, such as a pretty great room, pool, gym, and study area. Nice. I found out later that the great room is only open a few hours (early afternoon) each day on Saturday and Sunday, which are the times that most residents have off from school or work. That's not an accommodating policy and quite frustrating! What good is the appealing gathering facility if it's not open when most residents can enjoy it?

I don't recommend living here at all. This is my second year living here and I'm quite unhappy. The office is constantly losing my paper work and packages. The shuttle is a joke. It only runs every 45 minutes and it seems like everyday at least one of them is down. It's a student apartment, we need to get to class. I never rely on the shuttle and always drive to class, which is a hassle.
The system they use for billing the electric is horrible. They didn't bill for the electric for a few months, and then slapped me with a $380 out of nowhere! I understand that it was months

This is definitely a complex for college students and I love that it came furnished but that is about it. Management tries to charge you for everything and is not helpful at all. I don't trust them when it comes to billing. They took over the billing for electric and what they charged/ billed seemed unreasonable to be to be split 4 ways. The cable is terrible and the wifi is on and off when it wants to work.
The shuttle service may seem like a great perk but that's only if you make it on. There never seems to be enough shuttle space to pick up residents and if you miss it because it

The atmosphere is solely college student based. There are parties almost every weekend. The tenants can be loud and the walls are thin. The staff are kind and helpful and the maintenance staff are quick and knowledgeable. You are provided with furniture for all apartments and everything except electric is included. It is quite expensive if you have your own furniture.
It is in a great location as you are close to Walmart, 3rd Street, several gas stations, 2nd Street and a bus stop. There is also a shuttle that takes residents to and from various places on campus.

Lived here for three years. The two years I knew my roommates, there were no significant problems.
This past year, they disregarded my roommate matching form (twice!) and assigned me roommates who have trashed the living room and kitchen, as well as broken their lease agreement multiple times. To top it all off, the office staff does not seem to care at all about my poor experience, and does not respond by email! When an employee tells you only the manager can assist you, but the manager is "out of the office" every day of the week...... that's when you know. It's a shame
