A native of Rochester, New York, Jeanne attended Mercy High School then earned a BA in psychology at Methodist College in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She attended the California Institute of Integral Studies and studied for three years in the East West Psychology MA/PhD program before going on to Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she studied both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese herbs.
