Our mission is to provide integrative and complementary health care to patients with an Eastern approach by applying treatments using acupuncture, herbal medicine, eastern dietary therapy and Chinese medical massage (Tui Na). Perinton Family Acupuncture provides a holistic approach to patient health and the highest quality of health care in traditional Chinese medicine.
The Mei Zen cosmetic acupuncture program utilizes traditional Chinese medicine to naturally reduce the signs of aging making your skin look younger and more radiant while providing holistic health benefits for the body. Children and teens respond very well to acupuncture and other non-needling techniques offered by our clinic.
During the herbal consultation a complete health history is taken in order to identify your differential diagnostic pattern in Chinese medicine, which is based on your signs and symptoms. An herbal formula is then crafted uniquely for you. Your customized formula is rooted in time tested classical formulas that were written thousands of years ago and modified based on present day and your individual pattern.
Phototherapy acupressure patches, when stimulated by heat, reflect low levels of your own infrared light back into the body. Patches then stimulate acupuncture points to reduce pain and promote healing. There are no medicinals or chemicals on the patches. Patching can be added on to your acupuncture visits or as a standalone treatment.
Auricular acupressure may be used as a primary mode of treatment or in conjunction with other treatments such as acupuncture or herbal medicine. Acupuncture may be applied to the ear in the clinic. At the end of the treatment, patients may go home with small stainless steel pellets that are gently placed on specific parts of the ear with a clear adhesive.

I have come for acupuncture for a number of different reasons and every time I come I have a wonderful experience. I always feel better, whatever relief or treatment I may have been seeking.
I also tried the infrared sauna and it was amazing! I feel so relaxed and refreshed!

I've been seeing Renee for a couple of years now and she is amazing. Very thorough intake of what may be troubling you, clear communication of procedures, and made me feel relaxed & comfortable. She's helped me with anxiety & depression issues with her work when life was pretty tough. The acupuncture sessions have even helped back pain. I highly recommend to everyone!

Renee has been wonderful seen I began seeing her earlier this fall. She always addresses my area of complaint, however she incorporates pain control into overall wellness and holistic health. Just this week I was not having any pain, but was coming down with a cold. She needled some points for that and cupped around my lungs. I felt at least 60% better walking out the door. As a health care provider myself, I understand the importance of acupuncture and I recommend her to many of my patients!

I visited Renee for the first time yesterday for reproductive concerns. The office is beautiful and the appointment was very thorough. She was very easy to talk to and did a great job explaining what to expect out of my treatments. I left feeling very relaxed. I would highly recommend Perinton/ Rochester Family Acupuncture!
