I’m not one to write reviews but I’ve reached out to them via email and called several times no one answers. They have been “doing inspections” since September they would go into your house AT LEAST once a week. For a month straight they were testing alarms every morning at 8am. They pick and choose when they give notice for an example they told me they would be in my apartment on 12/30 today is 12/29 and you guessed it they were in my house this morning. If you want any sense of privacy or safety don’t bother moving here they will be in your house almost everyday. Like I said they have

Awesome so far. Havent had any issues in the month Ive been at Ellyn crossing. Its been great experience especially for my first rental. The community is very friendly. I am very happy with the apartment. I had a couple issues but maintenance was awesome and fixed quickly. Shout out to Ricky. -

I’ve been here for a year and a month and this place have had 19 different inspections which is kind of weird especially for very very small apartments , they constantly need to come in your apartment just to not do anything now they’re charging a fee if you don’t let them in or don’t have pets put up. People do have a life and travel etc... I’ve never lived at an place where they do 19 expectations if not more a year.
Also they took our balconies down which I paid extra for and haven’t yet been able to use it since I moved in , they could’ve at least offered a rent discount or something

They don’t notify you prior to coming into your apartment, they don’t do maintenance, they don’t fix anything until it’s time to fix another apartment for someone else to move in too. The young lady I shared a wall with wasn’t very cleanly and this is the result. You call they don’t answer, they allow pets so some tenants don’t pick up after their pets. No need to say what’s in the complex’s common areas. Apartments are not big enough to even have pets. Just all around horrible. Not worth the money. If this is a stepping stone for you please step somewhere else. You would expect

I have pretty mixed feelings about this place. I love love love Ricky the maintenance and he’s probably the only really good thing about this place. However, I moved in around April and the main reason I even moved in was for the balcony and was in my price range. I even expressed how I needed and wanted a balcony. They tore it down almost a month of being here. I know they knew it was coming down. I emailed about updates and they never respond. I pay for this in my rent and yet NONE of us have received rebates. They finally replaced the old gross carpet outdoors but no updates on the older buildings

This is the worst apartment complex you can live in. They shut the water off 20+ times a month for hours each day for "emergency maintenance". They destroyed our balconies with the promise of rebuilding them, but they haven't started yet. It's been at least 3+ months now that they left our yards dug up and with debris. I talked to one of the construction workers who said it could take 2.5 years to rebuild the balconies. But for now, Ellyn Crossing refuses to acknowledge their poor planning and give us rent rebates or discounts for having to go through this. Meanwhile I highly doubt the management

Apartments are only 600 sq ft they want you to make 3 to 5 x the rent and for the area and size of the units and price not worth the hassle ! They also required a $60 fee for myself and another $ 60 for a co signer non refundable then another $350 all before I could even put the application through then when I call to get my $350 back I'm told 4 to 6 weeks! I would not recommend moving here many other complexes close by with bigger units for the same price or less

I have been here for close to 7 months now and have really no complaints at all. The maintenance staff are all super friendly and have taken care of all my issues in a super timely manner. Nick from maintenance has been awesome and is a super cool guy. Great place for the price and location. They are constantly upgrading and improving too.

Simply a waste of time. My partner and I were told we would not be able to see a unit prior to applying. They took the application deposit of $235 per applicant to hold the apartment, but we heard nothing back. After over a week had passed we contacted management by phone with no response. Finally we were informed by email that we had been denied, and according to the application terms they would return the deposit. Norma informed us we would be receiving our deposit back soon. It has been several months and still no check or any indication of when it might come.

Highly disappointed in this entire complex. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. On April 1st I was told that i would be issued a check for my refundable admin fee that was for $350. I was also told that it would only take 4-6 weeks to be issued a check. (Which seemed like a long time but with COVID I understand certain things are having longer processing times) Since then I haven't heard anything and the past 2 times I have called the complex they have no answers for me other than "oh it will be another 2-3 weeks" I asked for the cooperate number and the woman I spoke to told me she

Trying to get my fiancé out this place . The police have been in and out of all the apartment complex's and She was not disclosed that the area was unsafe . Just the fact everyone has the same key to get into any entrance of each complex because of laundry is a concern . Someone came to her door when I was not there opened it and came into her complex and She was scared. Luckily, they were under the influence and Unaware of there surroundings. Weed smell 24/7 neighbors arguing and picking fights with other neighbors swearing at each other all night is mind blowing.The responsibility

I have been searching for apartments for my boyfriend and I for months.. I found this place and was astonished on how cute it was! And cheap! It really sounded too good to be true. And it was. My boyfriend and I parked out front for our tour and off the bat a police officer asked us to move the car. No biggie. We noticed people were driving a bit reckless so we didn't mind. I waited up there and witnessed the staff being a bit rude to this family who didn't speak much English. She then changed her attitude entirely when speaking to us about our appointment to view the place and I waited
