Jalisco owners have gained experience and good reputation in Shenandoah Valley in local restaurants with rich and flavorful Mexican food, now Jalisco Mexican and Enigma Bar and Mariscos pretends to bring their memories to all customers. Back in Mexico, when they savored these dishes and experienced these aromas around the house with their mothers and families and around the tourist Marketplace at the other side in Jalisco Mexico.

We recommend this little spot because the food is really good… homemade salsa, corn tortillas, amazing carnitas, yummy fajitas, a great beer list, all at reasonable casual prices. Also there’s outdoor, covered seating. But even better? The staff — they are so darned nice and genuinely happy to be sharing this food. I hope the place survives despite covid. It’s much better than the other local Mexican restaurants that are nearby’

The Lava Bowl was delicious, the chorizo tacos were okay (cannot beat Al Carbon tacos), and the corn tortillas were small but amazing (wish they gave me more than 3). The tortilla chips tasted stale as others have noted. I ordered takeout and received everything as ordered. Can't wait to try the margaritas on Mondays.

5 stars! From the food to the service. It's obvious this restaurant prides itself on amazing customer service! And I have never had a dish that didn't taste amazing. They treat me as a friend when I walk in, it's really a nice feeling. Sometimes you may be waiting a while for your food or drink. That's because they are busy. Y'all stop hating on having to wait a bit. Chill out, your food will be fresh and hot when you get it. The drink expertly mixed. Worth the wait or lack of wait.
