My pain management doctor, Venus Ramos is highly skilled. Since the multiple changes to opiate prescription regulations by the federal government, it has been extremely difficult for me to obtain my prescriptions from Dr. Ramos. There have been two incidents now where I have had to wait 6 to 9 days before she responds to my request for a refill. As we approach the weekend, she has not authorized my refill request. It is very frustrating to constantly call and email without a response. I drive nearly 2 hours to Long Beach for my appointments. It may be time for me to search out a doctor closer to
