Our specialty at Al Bel is rehabilitation. We have rehabilitation physicians who work closely with our in-house rehab team as well as our attending physicians. The goal of our rehab physicians is to ensure that each resident achieves optimal rehab levels. We have a proven track record of successful outcomes and pride ourselves in delivering excellent rehabilitation as well as excellent patient care.
We provide 24-hour licensed nursing care and are capable of providing IV therapy, hydration, and pain management. Services
With that said, we understand that it's difficult to be separated from your family members and loved ones. If possible, Skype, FaceTime or use other forms of visual communication to hear and see one another. Make sure to include grandkids, family members, and close friends in calls. Order a book, movie, game or anything else online and surprise your family member with a way to help them occupy some time.

We suggest visits to your love ones between 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. You are welcome any time but please make sure after 8:00 PM try to keep noise levels to a minimum. We have a very nice inside courtyard so you can have a nice area for your visits. Yes, we have a Beauty Salon available on site so you can have your haircuts, colors, and other services attended to.

My mom was for several years until she passed. Alamitos Belmont became her family and was treated with dignity and respect. The staff was wonderful and took such good care of her.
I felt compelled to write this review but felt it was necessary after reading the negative reviews. Cesar F claims that the facility will not allow fully vaccinated visitors and gave a negative review. I guess he does not understand that Long Beach has their own Health Department and the facility must follow their guidelines.
LIz M completely slandered the facility and actually violated privacy rules regarding her moms

I chose this place because of the 5 ⭐️ rating and USNews rating of one of the best places last year. I was curious why there haven’t been many reviews of this place for years. Did they pay people? Were they so good that people didn’t feel the need to review?
My experience of it hasn’t been as stellar as all of those stars. My loved one weighs so low that I’m concerned for her. They said that the dietician will consider an NG tube if a lot more weight is lost and the labs are off. Well, they haven’t done labs since my loved one first came in, and the hospital had filled her with everything

You won't be allowed to visit a resident if you are not fully vaccinated. They are claiming that it's "the department of health regulation" But it's not. A negative PCR test should be enough. This is the only facility that is implementing that in L.A. Thumbs down all the way!
Poor residents.

The nursing and rehab staff is top notch and professional yet personable. All members are willing to to help at any given time. I have been admitted there 3 times and was happy to stay. The food is a 4/5 . If I have to be admitted to a rehabilitation facility again I will be requesting to stay with Alamitos Belmont. Take a tour, this place is clean.

I'm a nurse and just came to visit my neighbor. I have seen many skilled nursing facilities and rehab centers and I am very impressed by this one. Rooms are clean, no smell to the facility, staff friendly and seem happy and helpful. My neighbor is pleased with her care there. Facility looks nice. Only one draw back- more than 2 patients in a room. 3 people in a room and it is hard to have some privacy. Maybe there are other rooms that don't have 3 patients. Otherwise, very nice rehab facility. Thank you to the administrators for making it what it is.

I have visited many facility's and Alamitos Belmont stands out as one of the best I've been to. The staff is extremely friendly and knows all the patients by name. The diversity and culture of the facility stands out and it shows by the different ethnic holidays that they celebrate. I was very impress with how clean the facility was, and the many activities and amenities that were offer. A great place to check out if your looking for a place for a love one.
