Frank has done 2 inspections for us now, both times he has been unbelievably thorough. Communication is excellent and attention to detail is obvious. I appreciate the awesome inspections and the fact that Frank has went above and beyond for us on multiple occasions, this is not a fluke. Many photos are taken and uploaded to a website, where you are able to view all photos and notes very easily. Cannot say enough about Stankus.

Chris was very thorough in our home inspection. We have been in for three months and started to correct the issues he discovered (or stumbled across them ourselves as we forgot they were listed in the report). He was upfront about what he does/does not cover in the home inspection, so we knew what we were getting into because we asked up front what was included/not. Also advised us on things he could not inspect due to things like boxes in the way or shelves covering walls. We used Chris for a few inspections and found him to be very thorough. He did a good job of being a neutral 3rd party who would provide accurate facts.
I would strongly recommend Chris for any future homeowners.
Also when we went book to book Chris for our last inspection I found it funny our realtor said he is known as "deal killer". I was like isn't that what you want someone who will give you the information to kill the deal if necessary?!
Overall Chris did a good job and don't be surprised if your realtor tries to steer you toward using a less diligent inspector.
I would strongly recommend Chris for any future homeowners.

He went once to inspect my “to be house”, but the seller had so many stuff blocking the areas that needed to be inspected that he couldn’t finish the whole inspection on the first time he tried. Stankus was nice enough to go back to the house and reinspect it to make sure all were good. As I was a little paranoid with the whole process, Diane had a lot of patience with me as well. Nice company!!

Had a very daunting situation: simultaneously selling a home on the west coast while buying one on the east. Wouldn't be available for the inspection in the east, hence needed someone with a reputation for impeccable thoroughness. Chris Stankus met, then surpassed our expectations, by providing a true analysis of the home's condition, then checking in with us months later, when something unexpected arose. If you want to really know the condition of your prospective home, Chris is your guy. If you need a fluff job, better to look elsewhere.

It can be intimidating purchasing a home as a single woman and not knowing much about home maintenance or repairs. chris inspected the home top to bottom and provided an organized, detailed report the very next day. the report was thorough and easy to understand even for a first time home owner - with his findings i was able to negotiate a better deal with the sellers. great job, will definitely always recommend!

When I was the seller, Chris found things that cost me a few thousand dollars in repair, so naturally when I was the buyer I chose Chris. Chris' main concern about my roof was that it wasn't properly ventilated. However, not even a week after closing I had a leak down my wall. I currently have at least 12 leaks and need a new roof. It was evident that the previous owners new this problem and covered it up. There was a rusted drip pan in the attic that was obviously catching water that Chris didn't see. We had Chris facilitate an inspection August of 2015 for a home in Ocean City NJ. He was recommended by our real estate agent. The negative review stems from missing, ignoring or basically not communicating to my wife and I the house had a substantial amount of mold growth in the crawl space, utility room and garage. After the purchase we were unable to get rid of the musky smell in the home that we thought was only due to the home being closed up pre our agent. Chris came highly recommended, however, he failed greatly. He missed A LOT of major problems in our house. For example, the water heater broke the very first day we signed on closing day, there was a massive crack in the firewall of the fireplace that needed to be replaced, as well as the pump for the pool. Chris is the best. I have had some really bad inspections in the past. He is thorough, friendly, and hard-working.
