Home inspectors perform a unique and valuable service. A professional home inspector will inspect your home utilizing professionally accepted methods and standards to accurately report the condition of the physical components and structures of the subject home.

Home inspectors do not judge or evaluate the home for cost or value, but do report objectively in writing the specific condition of the subject home's condition and the subsequent physical systems involved.A home inspection is an independent, unbiased review and report on a home's systems, components and their condition.
Services
You are about to make one of the largest financial investments of your lifetime. It is vital that you have your potential home or business inspected by a licensed professional. Here at Barnes Home Inspections, Inc., our client's best interest is our #1 priority. We will perform a visual inspection using the latest technology available to ensure you an accurate and professional home inspection report.
Professional and competent home inspectors are fully trained in the proper operation of all common home systems. Foundations, floors and walls. Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps: Cooling and air-handling equipment controls and ducting, etc. Interior: Partitions, ceilings, floors, railings, doors and windows, etc. Insulation and Ventilation: Attics, walls, floors, foundations, kitchen and bathrooms, etc.
Why do I need a home inspection? A. Professionally trained home inspectors assist in maintaining the health of your home and a property inspection makes home maintenance easy by catching minor problems before they become big projects. In just a few hours you'll have a detailed report of the condition of your home so that you can plan for needed repairs and upgrades when it's time to make them.
Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet me until after you hire me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector's own effort.
Replace burned out bulbs to avoid a "Light is inoperable" report that may suggest an electrical problem. Remove items blocking access to HVAC equipment, electric service panels, water heaters, attics and crawl spaces. Unlock areas the inspector must access - attic doors or hatches, electric service panels, closets, fence gates and crawl spaces.

Pete was a very nice and prompt guy. As for his inspection, he missed some huge problem areas when inspecting our home. We are now in a position of having to spend thousands of dollars for his oversights. I wish I would have done my homework a little better and went with someone else. I gave him one star and that was only because it wouldn't allow me to post this without giving at lease one, he deserves none.

I can't say enough nice things about Pete Barnes. He was incredibly polite each time I spoke with him over the phone. When he was walking my husband and I through the home for the inspection he was VERY thorough, honest, and explained everything he was doing and what we needed to know in detail. Pete was so nice, down to earth, and up front about everything. I cannot speak highly enough about him!
