I was out taking pictures of Christmas decorations and decided to stop here for a Cheeseburger and fries. Nice atmosphere -- big, clean and welcoming. Service was great and food was as well. I've read some negative reviews but I really had a great experience here. Next time I will try something else. I literally only had $20 on me and didn't want to use a credit card tonight. A little pricey for a "diner".

I haven't been to this diner in a long time. My husband and I after a long hard day went for a quick bite. I had a burger wih avocado and an egg on it. It was very good..my husband had the lasagna. We ate outside it was such a nice evening. The waiter was attentive and nice. The place is kept clean.

Food was mediocre. NY strip steak was very dry, rubbery and overcooked. Baked potato didn't come fully loaded, and cauliflower had brown spots on it. Very overpriced and won't be returning.
Manager didn't even ask how did we enjoy our meals upon our payment. Service was very slow as well. Won't return.

We've been going to the diner for years now and the service is usually a very good as well as the food. It's understandable during this pandemic the service is going to be a little slower due to the lack of help. But, this is the second time we have gone there on a Sunday And told to wait for 15 minutes. An hour later we were told to be another 15 minutes. The old guy who seems to work only on the weekends and seats you is an arrogant SOB and doesn't care about you and it shows. We've been supporting this diner even towards the bad times in the past year and I've been nothing

Ordered 3 Burgers and my son found something in it. Looked like a small ball of hair. Looked further into his burger and found this additional surprise. I called and they did give me a refund but there was no way that these cooks didn't see this while they were cooking and packing food. I owned several restaurants in my life time and ate at even more but never in my life have I've seen anything like this. Absolutely no Quality Control

I went here yesterday with 4 of my friends to get lunch and we were sat immediately. The service was very fast throughout the entire time we were there. Our table ordered the Santa Fe egg rolls. I ordered chicken tacos and my other friend who also uses Yelp ordered the pulled pork sandwich. All of these dishes were great. The meat on my tacos were amazing, but everything else was super good. I loved the plantains that came with it. There was plenty of food for everyone and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely come back here.

Solid diner. I've been here many times and the food is consistently good. We went on a Saturday evening around dinner time and got a table right away. There are plenty of tables but it does get very busy at times especially during breakfast/lunch on weekends.
Great place to go when you can't decide on a cuisine. They have everything from mozzarella sticks to Waldorf salads to burgers and gigantic milkshakes! They also have a full bar. They serve breakfast all day!

Came here with my mother and brother and was very satisfied. My brother got the country breakfast with two eggs any style, ham, bacon, and hash browns. My mother got the banana strawberry nutella waffles and I was honestly eyeing her food the whole time. I got the create your own omelette that came with hash brown and a choice of sausage, bacon etc. Food was delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better breakfast. My brother also ordered the frozen hot chocolate and the waiter gave me his left overs in a to go cup. So I am VERY happy!!!! Very clean environment and the waiter who took care of

Forgive my brevity Northvale Classic Diner, you deserve a lengthy review. I'll keep it as short, and sweet as your all American Cuisine. Good food, but not greasy. Fantastic selection, some international dishes too. Alcohol, chocolate, desserts, cakes, to go, etc. Good service, and a willingness to please. Well managed. Spacious, clean, and gender specific bathrooms. Wheelchairs...I THINK there's a ramp. Adjacent parking lot. Open late (by local standards), and did I say - good food? $$ out of $$$$$. I would recommend Northvale Classic Diner!

As far as diners go, this isn't the greatest, especially when you consider that New Jersey is famous for its diners. Some members of our group ordered burgers while others ordered the standard breakfast fare. The French toast was a bit dry. The burgers range from a simple cheeseburger to some truly over-the-top creations stuffed with onion rings, macaroni and cheese, and more. The food was quite greasy. The turkey club was good - unlike many places the turkey wasn't too dry.

This is my absolute favorite diner to go to in the area. I live a few towns away but I'll go out of my way to come here. Everyone I've taken here loves the burgers but I'm a sucker for breakfast, especially with their freshly squeezed orange juice. The service is always fantastic and I love coming here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Even when it's busy there is plenty of parking and the service is quick.

I went there for breakfast with my wife and my sister. Quite a busy place when you walk in but we were seated within 10 minutes. The waiter was super friendly and the place was jumping with great looking food coming out of the back. The food was fresh and prepared quickly with nice size portions. As busy as they were we were not watched over and rushed. Parking is easy except for the left turn out of there if you are foolish enough to try. Good good, good value , good review
