Raleigh Nails

New in the area and needed a new place to do my nails. Very nice when I first walked in and allowed walk ins. Kim did my nails and she did an amazing job, especially since I have very dry and frayed cuticles. She was so sweet, kind and gently, and made my first time there memorable considering people are usually rough when cleaning cuticles. Very big selection of nail colors and pricing was reasonable!

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I got fussed at for being a new customer and having a coupon. No where did it say it had to be printed, so I saved it on my phone. Was told that was unacceptable and I OFFERED to go print it. Was continuously fussed at in front of customers. Then was charged for an amount I did not agree to nor was able to pay because I had only the money equal to my coupon price. After more arguments and horrible customer service, She then began to refunded the charge but then turns around and charged my card again, for money I didn’t have because now we were waiting on the bank

It's clean and the ladies in there were really nice to me and made me feel comfortable. And my nails look fabulous can't even tell that she used the last bit of paint on me can you?

Wonderful manicure and pedicure !

I've been coming here for over 6 years now. Anna is my favorite nail technician. She has such steady and skilled hands and always does an amazing job! Today was the first time in my life I've ever asked for a nail design and I absolutely love it!!

I went on Friday to get a fill in and asked for some simple French tips with cherries design. On Saturday the paint was already chipping off from multiple nails and by Sunday my whole thumb nail broke off. I went in on Monday when I had free time to get a refund and they would not give me one. Not even a partial refund or a gift certificate of any kind. She offered to fix them but after the service I receive I didn’t even want it. These nails reflect the kind of service they provide.

First off, I overheard two younger technicians make fun of an older fellow technician for not understanding what a customer said in english and laughing at her. The customer wanted a certain nail color but pronounced it wrong and let her paint the wrong color on the whole time— so it wasn’t even the technician’s fault. This is not professional and my heart hurt for that technician as she did nothing wrong. It’s not okay.

I enjoyed my Nu pedicure and my technician was really nice, but what wasn’t disclosed or posted on their menu of pricing was the additional cost for gel polish. A pedicure comes with regular polish, I know, but an extra $20 for gel is pretty steep. I could buy the bottle for that price. I should have kept my appointment with my other salon because they only charge $8 for gel polish and $6 for gel removal. But, I came here for the first time simply bc it was closer to my house.

I’ve noticed that one manicurist/pedicurist who goes by Lynn picks fights with her coworkers. Unprofessional when there are clients around, trying to get pampered in peace. I feel as if situations should be dealt with behind the scenes— where is the owner or manager to deal with her? The wait time was long as well when I just wanted a simple and quick manicure. Very disappointed!

I definitely will not be coming back here and I wouldn't recommend it. I'm not one to write reviews, but I was very unhappy with my experience.

There were only 4 customers when I went, but they were not taking walk ins after me. They told people it would be a 45 minute wait when they arrived and turned them away. They did my gel manicure very rushed and quick. The nail artist was applied it pretty sloppy and had to use her nails to scrape it off my fingers, yikes. My cuticles were cut, and very deep to the point it stung afterwards. There was still paint on my fingers when she was done

Awful job. My nail polish was way too thick and goopy. They are not detailed and do not take their time. Don't waste your money here.

I haven't ever left a review anywhere, and unfortunately this isn't a positive one. I live in north Raleigh and have known about Raleigh nails for years. Probably 7-10 years now. I have only ever been a handful of times and while the quality of services provided is okay, it's never been spectacular. I knew this going in today, however, I was alright with just okay since I was in a pinch and needed my nails done. There was a short wait, which was fine. Plenty of color selection which is great. I've been going here for years. I get my brows and toenails done about once a month. I'm always happy and always tip well. Sometimes there is a wait on Saturday but that's to be expected.

This is what i get for going to an unfamiliar nail salon. I was rushing and didn't have time to go to Cary where i usually go. This overall review is based on the work of the nails. NOT the customer service. They were nice!! However my nails? I got a fill-in, and got the colors yellow and black. The tech rounded my nails out without asking did i want them that way. The polish is lumpy and uneven. Oh, and she purposely cut MY NAIL under the acrylic nail and just left it alone. The lady did not rush at all. But her work seems as though she was in a rush. The workers in general were very nice

I've been going here since my first mani in 5th grade, the constant gel nail fills that I grew so addicted to in my junior and senior year of Highschool, for prom nails, and for every time I come back from college & want to splurge. Its not crazy fancy, but the nails are quality. The nail technicians and gentle but efficient (never had my skin filed!!) and very talented. I'd recommend this place to all.

I just went to Raleigh Nails and had a great experience. I have been a regular at another nail place, and after my experience at Raleigh Nails, I will be a repeat customer. They were thorough, attentive, and listened to my special requests. Great customer service, didn't feel rushed, and felt cared-for. Thankful!

As someone mention this is not an upscale salon. But for a quick pedicure I enjoy it. I usually come here when in North Raleigh. The signature pedicure ($35) is my favorite it definitely does make your feet feel soft and smooth. The employees are always nice and don't rush you out even if you come in near the time they close. I've never done gel polish here but they do have lots of color options for regular polish and gel polish.

It doesn't have bells and whistles, and no they don't offer you drinks , but I have been getting my nails done here for the last 7 months and love them! I get compliments on them and the price is comparable to others. I see regulars on a first name basis in there all the time.
If you are looking for a spa effect you would probably be happier somewhere else, but they treat me very well.

My experience here was great! My technician was attentive and friendly. She did a good pedicure although I feel she could have been a tad more thorough. The spa is clean and everyone that I encountered was friendly. Probably will not return because I don't live near this particular spa and I would definitely seek a more relaxing thorough pedicure where I am counting the days until my return.

I'm a longtime user of nail enhancement services. I started with acrylics then made the transition to gel/gel polish in recent years. I know what I like. I know what I'm looking for in a salon and a nail tech. This is a luxury not a necessity. This is something I do every 2-3 weeks so I don't want to waste my money routinely in a place that I'm not completely satisfied. I went to a nail salon for 12 years - same tech. After the service started to falter I began searching for a new place. Good nail techs are hard to find - went to several. Enter Raleigh Nails! I made an appointment

I went on a Monday afternoon to get my nails done. Much to my surprise is was extremely crowded. It took a little while to be seen. They did a good job, not amazing. You could tell they were rushed to get the next person in.

They did a great job painting my nails, but just an ok job on the cuticles.

Terrible and overpriced. I went in for a mani- pedi and my nails looked worse than when I came in. They left all the cuticles, it looked awful. I could of done a better job myself. The place is really depressing looking and not very clean. The worse part, extremely over priced for the crappy service. I complained that I wasn't happy with my nails and they gave me an attitude and pretty much dismissed me.

This place is horrible. The walls are bright puke colored, it is impossible to feel relaxed. I came in with my sister and they told us it would be a 15 min wait to get pedicures. They proceeded to put our feet in the tub and took over 30 minutes to see us while the water our feet was in got cold. They don't offer you anything to drink so if your looking for a relaxing glass of wine look elsewhere. During the pedicure she made me bleed..seriously the worst pedicure I have ever received. Please take your $$ elsewhere!

I am a regular here- every 3 weeks I get shellac gel on my nails and a pedicure. I have had a couple different ladies but now I ask specifically for Katie, she is the absolute best! She takes her time and massages each leg for about 10 minutes! That is extra long in pedicure world. They are very accommodating and always have a special going on. Today it was a free parrafin hand treatment with a manicure & pedicure. They have gel colors to match regular polish so your toes and nails will match even if you want shellac gel on your fingers. They can't keep an appointment and will make you wait for an hour even when you confirmed twice. While you are there they are sending people away saying come back in thirty minutes then taking those same people in front of you. There is nothing special so go somewhere else. They are ridiculous.

I don't get my nails done often, but it was my birthday so I thought I'd treat myself. They talked me into a different polish and it was a gel; what sales women! I had a botch job tho, it reminded me of what my dogs nails looked like after getting clipped! Now I'm stuck with a crappy caked-on color... Never again! Perhaps the gals that visit here are used to asking for a service for their fake nails, but they weren't friendly to a newbie - and that's to say the least.
