My fiance and I hired Mike to inspect our new home that we're so excited about and he did such a fantastic job! The pictures he took, the detailed report he provides, and the friendliness, quick response, and ease of entire transaction made it all that much better! I've heard some horror stories from our realtor about inspectors cutting their inspection short by "assuming" it works and making sure that we do our research before we choose who to go with. We had the pleasure of working with Mike twice, he was by far the best home inspector we have used. He was very thorough. He was honest about things that needed to be repaired, but also brought things to our attention that could use some tlc. We were blown away by his expertise, even walking my husband through a couple scenarios of how to fix some problems. We liked that he had us come to the home towards the end of the inspection so he could walk us through everything he found. My fiance and I are thrilled with the thorough work Mike did. He was very quick to respond and schedule us an appointment. His inspection report is very clear and he made sure we understood everything in it. We decided to do the radon and thermal imaging testing, which we are so glad we did! Mike found spots in our future home with no insulation and a radon report which warranted a mitigation system. Because of Mike we know exactly what to expect in our future home. Mike did such a great job with my first home inspection that I reached out to him again when I purchased my second home. I appreciate that he took enough time to inspect all aspects of the home and then went through all findings with my husband and I at the end. The seller of the home we purchased had requested an inspection to be completed on two specific days, and Mike was able to accommodate us on a short notice! We feel at ease moving into our new home with our infant after Mike went through the house. We highly recommend him!

Mike was very professional and thorough with his inspection and his findings. My wife and I are so grateful for him because his photos uncovered some shoddy workmanship, which saved us from moving forward on a home under contract. We bought our first home this past April so we were totally new to the home buying process. Mike was recommended by our realtor. I was skeptical at first since I wanted to look for an inspector who didn't have ties with our realtor and because Top Notch had minimal online presence at the time so I had no reviews to rely on.
