Best Property Management service , ever!
Few years ago I google for a Property Mgmt, It was urgent matter for me. I remember it was pass midnight when I sent an email to Jensen Properties and few others* , next morning right after 9, the phone rings, Chris Jensen in the line... friendly, professional, knowledgeable accept the challenge to deal with the worst tenant ever and long story short the rental unit was clear out, cleaned up, renovated, and rented, smooth transition for me, lots of work for them. I switched my property management to Jensen Properties San Diego, Inc. in last November to manage my two rental properties that belongs to different HOA.
Soon I felt that this company is better than the previous one in many aspects of management.

Property Management Companies typically have a poor reputation, and I was reluctant to rent from one because I thought I preferred renting directly from owners. Jensen has changed my opinion entirely! What an impressive company they run. So professional, so customer service oriented. They pay attention to every detail and make sure we as the tenants have a great experience and feel taken care of. Oscar is the best! He is always so responsive, kind, understanding, and goes out of his way to accommodate us. I know he's super busy but he still always answers his phone and replies to text messages

Myself and my family altogether 5 of us paid $40 each to apply for a rental property on 7 may 2020. Their policy is background check fees are not refundable, i understand this but, after two weeks of my calling them and leaving my phone number and email address to the person handling my application (robin) to get a status on our applications there was no reply. No reason as to why we were rejected. So under the guise of working remotely due to covid the company seems to be keeping peoples application fees and not giving any reasons. Good scam. money makers.

Wonderful experience applying for an apartment. Peter was very helpful and responsive. He gave a tour of the property and provided answers to all the questions I had. Can’t wait to move into the lovely complex which has a beautiful pool, plenty of parking and well kept landscape.

I rented a Studio apartment from Jensen Properties during early 2019 to mid 2020. Upon moving in, there was NO smoke alarm installed in the Studio apartment during my 1st walk-through or prior to moving in (see attached photo). Also, after completing a 1-year lease agreement, I constantly reported a poor drainage due to rain run-off issue which created large puddles (see attached photos) in not only mine, but multiple tenants' front patios or entrance spaces making it a hazard to approach your own gated walk-thru. In response to Chris J., I'd like to take the time to clarify that there was imminent danger from the neighbors ie verbal threats "Is there another man in there? I'm going to knock down this door if you don't open it.", loud yelling, banging on the door shaking the entire complex during my walk through to move in WITH the landlord for my apartment. It was not dealt with in an appropriate manner. There was yelling for awhile and the altercation was not addressed by management. Just thought I'd write a review while I'm sitting here waiting to get a response from the after hours emergency maintenance line. My electricity is out as of about an hour, and it has happened many, many times before. This time though, my breaker won't turn back on. No biggie, it's only 80 degrees outside and getting hotter by the minute. I don't mind that all my refrigerated items are gonna start to go. I'll just bring my mom all the way across the country again to help me make more tamales to stock my freezer again since all mine will start going bad soon.
