Shaina is a wonderful host and cook! The place not only has excellent comfort food but has a unique southern and casual European feel. We hail from the south but have lived in Germany for 8 years on and off and casual European dining allow for patrons to linger and enjoy their time together, no rush. The ambiance was cozy and the decor is very unique, musics theme. Made me want to go get my guitar! Again, what we came for, the food was excellent!

We'd heard about Mad Apples from another local place - I Cue. Couldn't wait to try it out! Went in tonight and even though Shaina was short-staffed she managed to make us feel right at home. The food was amazing. Her combinations of meats and fish and sauces are excellent. I had the Salmon BLT with home made aioli. My husband had the Chord sandwich. Both were dripping off our hands - so good. We can't wait to eat there again! Highly recommend.

This place is WOW! We went and nobody was in the dining room. We later found out that they just recently opened the dining room but, we had the place to ourselves :) The food here was stupendous!!
I got the Chicken tenders. The breading and the fry was top notch. The homemade BBQ sauce wasn't needed but I tried it anyway and it was a great compliment. For sides I got onion rings and stir fried green beans. Just like the chicken, the onion rings' fry was perfect. The green beans were the best prepared vegetable I've ever eaten. My whole meal could have been the green beans and I would be ok with

This place is amazing!!!!! We tried a little bit of everything on the menu and its to die for. Most places you need condiments for everything...here I didn't need any. The flavors speak for them self.

I'd love to try this place too but Omg it's ALWAYS CLOSED. I'm local too. I drive by this place all the time at different times a day (you'd think I'd have nothing to do but I run a business which requires my constant driving). I guess all those in the past got their lucky chance of eating here. Good luck to maybe future winners.

Can’t say enough about this place. Stopped in with a party of 9 of us and Shaina greeted us and made us feel at home. If you want good home cooked food this is “the place” to stop.
Our only regret was that we were too full to try a dessert! We will definitely make this a regular stop when we are in the area again!

I'd love to give this place 5 stars, I just can't since I didn't have the opportunity to eat here. Just left. 1:30pm on a Thursday and they are closed. Both Google and Yelp say they are open yet there is no one around. Doors locked ,lights off. There are no times on the door so your guess is as good as mine. Really had my hopes up to. Oh well, off to DQ grill and chill.

Very authentic Cajun and soul food with friendly service. The fried catfish was crisp and tender, the fries were homemade. The Cajun corn is fantastic but make sure you have good spice tolerance. Sides are typical souls food sides such as collards or sweet yams. Not a fancy place, looks like a simple roadside ice cream place but has so much more. A hidden gem.

Surprisingly good spot for burgers, fries and ice cream. Had the Cuban fries that consisted of pulled pork, fries, cheese, mustard and pickles and it really hit the spot. Also the Baller Burger with grilled onions, bacon and topped with a fried egg was quite yummy! Also tried the coconut ice cream and it really made my day

By far the best food in and around the Delaware Water Gap area ! Had horrible food the day before at two different places and accidentally landed here since we were at the Snake Farm next door. And the food was so so worth it ! This place easily beats so many fancy $30 burger and fries places I've been to!
We had the pulled pork sandwich - AMAZING!
sweet potato fries - you may think thats easy , but no, this was by far the best I've had and I've had my share of sweet potato fries.
The uppity chicken sandwich - brilliant ! perfectly cooked chicken
Onion rings - again just perfect

Service was very slow xand place wasn't busy at all. Cashier didn't know the menu at all, we asked basic questions, she had no idea. Couldn't even imagine the wait if it were busy. Food? Pulled pork and succotash very good, Mac and cheese lacked flavor, cheeseburger was homemade but just tasted weird, like a cross between a burger and meatloaf. A solid 3 stars, would come back to try some other stuff.

2 stars bc my root beer hit the spot. LOL

I was overcharged twice. After the first correction, I just considered the second a tip. I also wasn't able to get a receipt after asking. I guess we know why.

The cashier and I went back and forth bc she said she had to charge me for sides when the menu clearly says that the entree comes with 2 sides. Mind you, she was very nice and I could tell she was doing her best. However an $18 brisket entree would be $30 when charging for 2 sides! I think we can all agree that that is outlandish.

We received our food in a timely manner. But that doesn&apos

10/10, I’d come back to this place every day if I lived local! I’m military and was on vacation with my family so we ordered a lot - the wait time wasn’t long at all either! We ordered catfish, a pulled pork sandwich, Philly cheesesteak, a burger, and the mac and cheese burger. Everything was hot and super fresh and needless to say, gone in only a few minutes! The customer service from the owner was just as good as the food too!! She was just as amazing as her food - DO NOT skip this place on your drive through town! Thanks for the good food and service - The Piano Tat Girl :)

Eat here!!!

Between the Snake and Animal Farm and the River Rafting is an unassuming place that looks like any ice cream and hamburger joint. Instead is a funky little place that brings a level of artistry to quick food. The Chicken fingers are seasoned like crazy and the burgers are hand shaped like your mom is back there in the kitchen telling you that you dont need any McDonald's (Eddie Murphy stand up reference).

Then the desserts! The chocolat ganache was amazing and I guess the cobbler was good as my kids ate it without giving me any.

The owner is super nice and comes out to

Seen this place on the side of 209 a couple of times and never was expecting a restaurant or this level of quality of food.
Owner and staff super friendly and accommodating.
I had the burger and sweet potato waffle fries.
Burger cooked to protection on a brioche bun, bacon juicy and crispy but not too crispy or dried out. Probably the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had in my lifetime. Very crispy, sweet and salty blend of seasoning coding on the fries. Although the fries are apart of the entree it almost somewhat of a dessert as well. Highly recommended. When I visited in May it was outdoor

Casual lunch spot that features a Hell's Kitchen contestant! The food was delicious- everything made to order. We got the Cuban sandwich, which was the best one I've ever had- homemade pickles I think too! The fries were battered, the mac n cheese was homemade, and the succotash tasty. Conveniently located next to a canoe rental place and a small zoo, so it was perfect with kids.

I enjoyed a Fantabulous birthday dinner at Chef Shaina's Mad Apples! This was my first visit and it won't be my last! The décor is so warm and inviting and Chef Shaina personally came out for some delightful conversation! And the food!! I had fried catfish and loaded Cuban fries. Can I tell you how the flavors just exploded in my mouth!! The catfish came with a dish of homemade tartar sauce with a hint of spice. And those Cuban loaded fries: The pulled pork, mustard, pickles?!! My taste buds did a happy dance. Never had anything like it before. I'm from Philly but I will definitely

This is a must if you're on vacation. I'm sure the locals love this place because it's amazing! We got two different kinds of French fries and as you can see, the toppings are stacked. Each fry was only $10 too. Don't get tricked into going to one of the fancy places around this area, come to Mad Apples.

We stopped in for a quick dinner and my girfriend is gluten-free so we were asking about options for what she could eat safely. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and ran back to the kitchen several times to talk to the chef.

Finally the chef came out and talked to us. He came up with a dish on the spot that would meet her needs.

He brought out a catfish filet sautéed with collard greens, mango chutney and a sour cream sauce.

It was amazing and worth the effort. The fish was perfectly cooked and the mango and greens were a perfect match.

Food- to die for !!

I wish I took pictures of the amazing food that I had. I personally had the Philly cheesesteak and I've never had one like this. I don't know if there was ketchup or what but there are mushrooms in it and it was amazing I devoured it before I could even find my phone. We asked for cheese on the fries, which is extra, and I just love that type of cheese. That nacho cheese spread they put on. Not throwing a piece of American cheese on it and calling it a Day, which I hate.

Dang this place is smokin. Amazing Philly cheesesteak browned on the grill with a big wedge of cheese stuck to it, along with onions and peppers on a toasted roll with hot salty fries sitting next to it.
My partner had the barbecue pork which was tender in your mouth and Just enough smoky sauce to make it perfect. The fresh looking coleslaw was a surprise find in this neck of the woods. We had considered stopping at that overcrowded Pete's place down the street but we didn't wanna get too close to anyone, so we sat outside here on the colorfully painted tables and watched the sun go
