Services
Our #1 goal is to get children excited about learning while preparing them to be successful in Kindergarten. To measure our children's progress, we have tailored Newport News public school system's yearly calendar. By mimicing their 9 weeks schedule, we break down our curriculum books over a year time so that our children can master the standards and goals set within each curriculum book.
Well look no further. WE LOVE KIDS will educate, love, and nurture your child through every developmental stage. We are an education-based school with a family atmosphere. Our program is the best of class. The loving and caring educators prepare your child for Kindergarten in a learning environment that is one of love and enjoyment for all.
Being a parent is uncharted territory when you first find out you're expecting. Chances are, you'll spend most of your time looking up developmental milestones for the first 12 months. You will read all of the blogs and spend days interviewing pediatricians. Despite your best efforts, there may be a few things that you overlook.

If I could rate no stars I would..... they make up their own rules. My kids have caught hand foot and mouth disease twice in the 6 months that they have been going to this center. The staff has been rude, last month one of their toddler room teachers was screaming at the kids to “SHUT UP YOUR JUST TIRED!” I contacted the owners today and never have I come in contact with such unprofessionalism. I brought in the notes from the dr saying that my kids are not contagious anymore because their fevers broke. The owner told me I can either pick up my kids or the police can pick them up for me. I took

While the facility looks great, I find it very disturbing that several of the teachers are on their cell phones during the day taking selfies. The teachers should be watching the children, not taking pictures of their self. Cell phones should not be used during the work day while they are supposed to be taking care of the kids. Feel free to look up the teachers on Facebook and you will see that they post pictures of their self in the classrom with captions "had to get this head did" "outside with the kiddos" "when you're bored at work #frolife #naturalchick #bighair". How are you watching our children

The staff is not used to babies who don't have relaxers and rubber bands in their hair! I would think that in this day and age, with a lot of African Americans who wear their hair in natural styles, wouldn't have been a problem for this Child Care Center, but it was. The staff should worry about changing diapers instead of worrying about a 1 year olds hair! I'm sure the baby girl won't be buying bundles from the beauty supply store, like they do because their mother kept messing with their hair when they were little. Very unprofessional, train your staff not to talk about children.

We reviewed multiple daycare centers in NN and a lot of them were scary and dirty, the only 2 acceptable places we found were We Love Kids and First Discovery. We chose WLK because they offered part time day care, and they have a teacher discount. Our Baby has been there 3.5 months and we are very happy with how well they take care of our baby. Thank you

This place is horrible. The teachers are ratchet and have no real experience. The director is messy and talks bad about other places and teachers. They steal kids from other centers very dishonest with parents. My child went there and got bit twice in less than a month. I had a kid getting off the bus at a stop down the street from there before it got switched, and they said they would get her..but she had to walk from the bus stop to the center by herself and teachers claimed they (FORGOT)There turn over is ridiculous!!! I advise you to go to a place with teachers who have experience. They don

AVOID this place! They serve the children meals that cost about $1.40 per kid per day, yet I was paying well over $800/mo for my 2 year old. She would continuously get sick from the food and eventually was able to tell me exactly what she ate everyday which was disgusting!
The owner is very cheap and cuts corners in every way he can, even when it comes to nutrition. The staff is constantly rotating and so are the "Directors". I say it like that because at the end of the day, the owner has say in what happens not the Director. I had an awful experience with her that is by far too much

My son has attended TLE Newport News since he was 6 weeks old, he's now over 3. He has gained so much education that we actually call it school. From crafts, songs and many other educational activities, we believe he is getting a head start for his school career. His teachers have always been helpful and great with communicating. The owners are extremely personable and have a clear vested interest in each child. I highly recommend TLE Newport News!!!

I will summarize the Learning Experience in one word: Excellent!!!!
My children have been attending the Newport News location and they scored really high on tests to enroll in public schools. My boys knew how to count and recognize their letters and numbers the same as a 4 or 5 year old, and they were three years old at the time. I cannot imagine sending my kids to another daycare than the Learning Experience.

This place is amazing! My son, who just turned one, has medical problems and the staff is on his medication. They never forget. Plus they took the extra initiative to help him learn to use his right leg, because he never used it. Lol. But they are able to tell you about their day without reading the paper. They genuinely care about your kids and have fun. They do activities with infants, as well. Not just feeding them and changing them. They do finger painting, along with using paint to make hand prints and foot prints and then they make them into some kind of character. we also got to bring home

For starters, please check the Dept of Social Services reviews of this place. You will likely shut down your consideration of this center based off of that alone: dss virginia gov facility search
