The staff always take time to listen and address any concerns. They do an amazing job of teaching and encouraging the kids from newborn to school age. Services
The program at Bright Heights is based on Piaget's theory that children learn best by doing. Providing a curriculum that includes a stimulating, learning environment with developmentally appropriate activities, gives each child the opportunity to grow at his or her own pace. We want your children to see how the skills they are learning can be meaningful to them.
Bright Heights Learning Center is a fully licensed and accredited Virginia Department of Social Services child care center. The center closes for major holidays and four staff development days annually. An annual calendar is provided to help parents make alternate arrangements on these days. The goal of the EPIC Curriculum is to provide children with daily opportunities to explore, discover, learn and experience success!
Becky Dollins is an educator who opened a child care center. She is not a business person who looked for a business opportunity and opened a child care center. For her this is a passion, not a job. Becky has a Master's Degree in Education from The College of William and Mary. She is the Owner and is present at the center regularly.
Bright Heights Learning Center is nestled within the beautiful Kiln Creek community. We are conveniently located next door to Kiln Creek Elementary School in the Fairway Plaza Center. From Jefferson Avenue, take Brick Kiln Boulevard for about 1 1/2 miles, take a left onto Kiln Creek Parkway. From Victory Boulevard, travel on Kiln Creek Parkway for about 1 1/2 miles, we are located in Fairway Plaza.

Our three kids attended Bright Heights from 2000 until the last one in 2009. We found a place where staff treated our children like their own. We cannot express in words how appreciative we are of Becky and Amy and all the other staff who cared for our children and taught them so many things.
