It was New Year’s weekend. Thur-Sunday. Upon entry we were created by Ms. Margaret who was just so pleasant and welcoming. The Inn was beautifully decorated with Christmas decor and it smelled like cinnamon everywhere. This Inn is CLEAN! Check in was smooth, our room was ready, and the instruction manual was helpful in navigating our stay. This Inn seems to appeal to an older crown which means it is quiet. If you are looking for a party this is not the place for you. Breakfast was decent. Coffee and tea 24 available 24/7. Wine and cheese and cookies every night. The game room was is nice. Didn’t

Great place to stay right in the heart of Rehobeth Beach! The rooms are clean and comfy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The amenities - pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room provided a fantastic way to relax after a long drive on a cold, rainy night. I stayed in December and I imagine downtown could be a little noisy during peak season. Avenue Inn & Spa is also well-located to access Cape Henlopen State Park in addition to Rehobeth beach. I plan on returning next year!

We came to run the Rehoboth Marathon. Our goal was a hotel with a breakfast, but, your hotel blew us away! Our room 307 was perfect along with the beautifully decorated lobby , and every where we went in your building was decorated so nicely for Christmas. But then your staff informed us of the wine and cheese at 5, and milk and homemade cookies at 8!!! Wow ! Clean, courteous, kind helpful, perfect! We loved our stay!

Great experience at The Avenue!
Was in Rehoboth on a lark and needed a place to stay. It was Sunday just off season and the room was very reasonable and the amenities very good for a non chain hotel. Nice, clean well furnished room with plenty of quality linens and toiletries, and a hot breakfast with all the continental accommodations.
Parking included and only a block from the beach. Although we didn't have the opportunity to patronize, they also have a bar and restaurant. I highly recommend the Avenue!

This hotel is absolutely amazing. Randi at the front desk was fabulous. The surprise Gourmet breakfast was delicious and the supply of snacks and drinks was great.
Now the best beach driver was Lou. Friendly and definitely an asset to this fabulous hotel. He takes you on a golf cart back and forth to the beach along
with towels and chairs. Top notch and a stellar guy.

The hotel is great. It is located a few short blocks from the beach, has a great pool and lounge area, and the chocolate chip cookies are a perfect way to end the night. But the real reason to stay here is the service. Lew, the golf cart driver, is fun and helpful. Randi at the front desk is amazing. Randi greeted us with a smile every time we walked by, gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do, and treated us like we were VIPs. Randi made my day, every day!!!

I took my family and we enjoyed it. We stayed in a Coastal Choice Queen Suite and loved it. It was very spacious and had enough space for 2 toddlers and 2 adults for 4 days. We ate in a lot and enjoyed the year round open indoor pool. The Hotel had mostly retirees there and we didn't take advantage of the Wine and Cheese but the breakfast was good and saved money. Would go back.
Blue Hen was good food but very pricey.

This was an outstanding place to stay in Rehobeth. It was right on the main shopping street, and had great amenities. Surprisingly good gym, hot tub, and pool for its size. The best thing are the people - the front desk staff was excellent, and really made you feel at home. I would happily stay here on our next trip to Rehobeth Beach.

My wife & I almost never complain. In fact, she holds me back whenever I feel like I need to lash out. Every time! We were SO excited about getting away from working at home during COVID as 70 year olds raising… a 4 year old grandson. . WHAT A SHOCK & DISAPPOINTMENT! Don’t get me wrong, as Rehoboth hotels go, this place was very nice. But because of COVID, it was virtually empty. Their parking lot was virtually empty upon arrival too. The room was smaller than expected, two full beds, as we always book a king room or suite. These photos are from the balcony of the room we we

Our goto place for our wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday. Both occasions are during the off-peak season so, we enjoy smaller crowds and friendlier people. The foodie scene is great too! The weather is mild in November and in March the weather is slowly starting to change.
If you like the beach, smaller crowds and a good food scene; stay here for a nice relaxing stay.

Great Rehoboth hotel with a great location just over a block from the boardwalk and just a block from Rehoboth Ave, where most of the restaurants and shops are located.
Upon arrival, they have a small parking lot near the lobby where you can park temporarily while checking in. We were then given a parking placard and directed to the garage beneath the hotel. Parking was included with no extra charge.
The check-in process was COVID friendly, with masked staff, plastic dividers, and hand sanitizer. They have each guest keep the pen they use to sign the check-in paperwork, which was also appreciated

The Aveune is a wonderful hotel to stay at in Rehoboth. Its situated one block from the beach and has two entrances so that you can either walk on the main strip or on the back where it's quieter.
My family came and we stayed 4 nights. Our room was very modern with hardwood floors and a walk in shower. Loved that we were in a suite to give us more space. The living room area is when you first walk in, then the bathroom with sliding doors and finally the bedroom. The beds were comfortable and sheets were sufficient for our stay.
The only downside was because of COVID housekeeping doesn

Really nice hotel with a great location. Our room was very neat, clean, and bright. It was comfortable for my husband and I and our baby! I loved being walking distance to the ocean, shops, and restaurants. It's a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The only thing I didn't love was the squeaky bed but everything else was perfect!

We booked a room here and they stuck us in a building down the street. Family was miserable walking through the town crowds to get to hotel amenities. The person that checked us in was not very pleasant, acted like she was busy and I was a burden on her precious time. Lack of elevator in the building they stuck us in makes for a workout loading and unloading luggage with no carts or help. Next to an extremely loud bar with late hours. The unhappy receptionist only gave us one swipe card for the main building because our room had an antique key on a huge keychain (bates motel type), so we had to

The pictures absolutely don't do this place justice. We loved staying here and cannot wait to go back.
It's two blocks from the beach, and parking, beach towels and chairs are included, as is a trip to and from the beach with Lee, in his golf cart.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable with tall ceilings. The pool on the third floor has an outdoor deck and sauna. Each room has a balcony, ours overlooked the Main Street and it was so fun to watch people go by.
Breakfast in the morning is solid- lots of hot and cold choices and good coffee. It's not fancy but it complete

Me and three of my friends checked in on Friday June 7th. We booked it on Trip Advisor and confirmed with the hotel prior to coming and paid in full for 2 night and 3 days.
We arrived, parked in the check in area and checked in. The receptionist told us that our room was in the annex, that's the other avenue building about 50 yards away. Well, at first I was furious and then I found out that we still have access to
Everything and let me tell you how amazing the rooms are in the annex. Neat, clean, Safety is a priority!!! I noticed a carbon monoxide detector in the room. I was happy

We just returned from our annual winter get-a-way weekend at the Avenue Inn and I wanted to provide an update to my original review from two years ago. Once again, the Avenue Inn surpassed our expectations as it has time and time again. The location is ideal with one door exiting onto Rehoboth Ave and the other main door opening to the numerous restaurant options on Wilmington Ave.

This is a great hotel with brand new, well appointed rooms. We had booked a weekend at the beach and were disappointed when the weather did not cooperate. Not a problem: the avenue inn has an indoor pool, an outdoor hot tub, wine w/ cheese at 5 and hot chocolate chip cookies at 8. It's perfectly located to walk just about anywhere, again, if the weather cooperates! And the service! Need an umbrella? They've got you covered! Forget your toothbrush, say no more! Every staff member was extremely polite. They even surprised us with champagne and cupcakes because we were celebrating our anniversary
